(A month after the Tournament)
Ikrir's POV
It's been a month since I've met Volgun and got my ass handed to me by Hiro, but it's been okay since then. Now I'm growing stronger and training with Volgun, Storm, and Kara for this item retrieval mission. We have to find these four swords that match our element, and apparently these swords are in the magic dungeon called 'Pandemonium's Zero', sounds fun. I catch up with Kara and Coraline in the hallway heading towards lunch.
Volgun's POV
Ever since the tournament, I've been training non-stop to become stronger. My muscle mass has noticeably grown since the tournament, I do have a goal now after all. Every now and then my curse grows just a little bit. Its soon going to start up my neck and down my chest. Deathgripper has become noticeably worried, but I've learned to keep the 'curse' in check. It's more of a power-up now that I think about it, but even so, I need to learn to control the overwhelming urge to absorb the magic of those around me. Lucky for me, I have the sleeve. Anyway, lunch is starting soon, so I went to catch up with Shiho and Jasmine.
Jushido's POV
After meeting Ikrir and the Tournament, I've been having fun, making friends, and learning a lot. With everyone getting stronger, I've realized that I have to get stronger so I don't let everyone down. Anyway I catch up with Storm and Stella heading to lunch.
(At lunch)
Ikrir: So Volgun, you ready for our mission?
Volgun: Yea, I guess so. I mean, Deathgripper is anxious so I am too.
Kara: I understand that, but you have the three of us to be there with you all the way.
Volgun: Yep, so I have some help if I ever get into trouble with my curse.
Storm: Speaking of which, how are you holding up?
Volgun: Eh, I'm getting there. Its grown and covered my entire shoulder now. It's starting to creep down my chest too.
Ikrir: Well if you ever need to dish out some energy from that curse, I've got your back.
Volgun: I know, and thanks man. With Storm and Kara not even able to access as much power as we can, you're really the only one who can do that, unless everyone in the group spars with me at once.
Kara: Um...the truth is...I've already obtained Dragon Force 2.
Volgun smiled and chuckled.
Volgun: Looks like there's more news than I thought. Guess who can go Dragon Force 1 without Deathgripper?
Storm: That's not fair I haven't even got Ice Dragon King Mode yet!
Volgun laughed more and slapped the table, causing it to crack a little from his light slaps. He has noticeably gotten stronger.
Ikrir: Anyway, we need to get our gear from ArmorSmith Class, and head out.
Volgun: Agreed, I need to smith some coverage for the places where my curse isn't covering.
Ikrir: Oh, before I leave, I have to pick up my sword for Weaponsmith class.
Volgun looked at Storm and Kara, who already know about what he did to the sword to improve it. It was a little surprise for Ikrir for all that he's done for Volgun.
Volgun and Ikrir head to Weaponsmith class after getting geared up.
Ikrir: So what's the surprise about my sword, Volgun?
Volgun: Well, you'll see that if you turn the hilt to the side and pull, a second blade will pop out and the hilt will extend to accommodate the new blade. You can also press a button on the side when only one blade is out to pop the blade into the hilt. It took some strange magic I learned from that book to do that.
