Chapter 7 Second Day of the Tournament

Volgun's POV

It's the second day of the tournament, and with that my school only wants me on the team so they see me fight the Fire Dragon King, as well as my step-brother, who is the Ice Dragon King. Those prodigies powers are nothing compared to my power, but yet Storm is the one being praised by our mother and my step-sister Stella. Must be awesome. He has a natural element while I have an element that that literally gives me nightmares, but they don't affect me anymore because I've learned that no one truly cares about me due to my family blaming me for our father's death. No matter. I'm going to beat both of them and be declared the King of Dragons, and nothing will stop me.

I found a rather large and hidden spot, and unfused with my dragon. "You did good boy, and still no one knows about us....except for Storm of course. Storm...I have to beat him, no matter the cost, and that fire kid....Ikrir was his name? Ah, that doesn't matter." The dragon pushed its large head into me for a warm hug. This was the last of the strongest dragons, and he was my friend since birth.

Ikrir's POV

As I process that the Nightmare Dragon King is here and he's Storm's older brother and knowing this makes want to fight him even though he's two years older than me and can go Dragon Force 3 easily, and now that I mention it, it's hard to go DF3, not even my mom can obtain that power so easily, so he must have something that enhances his magic powers, but that being said we have the next match with Sauk Academy, and it's two vs two so me and Jasmine are the ones who are going into the match.

Volgun's POV

I sat and pet the dragon before hearing the crowd roaring outside. "Damn, they're already getting at it." I said this as I watched from a barred window. My dragon friend nudged me from behind and wagged his tail. "Fine, let's fuse again." I chuckled happily as I started to fuse with my scale-covered friend, walking back to the rest of my team when I was finished. My voice dropped heavily and wings sprouted from my back, along with a tail, which sprouted from the bottom of my spine. Scales covered my skin in a fluorescent pattern with many different colors, and my fingernails became sharp claws. "So, when's my next match?"

In the Match

Ikrir: Fire Dragon Talon!!

He knocked out the male Griffin Slayer with a powerful kick.

Jasmine: Celestial Wolf Sharp Claw!!

She punched and knocked out the Serpent Slayer, and they won their match and headed for their team room.

Volgun's POV

I watched the 'Fire Dragon King' prodigy from above the stadium and chuckled to myself as he fought. "He really is a great fighter....I'll have to take care of Storm first." I devised a plan quickly and smiled a long, devilish smile with my fang-filled grin. Once I landed I looked at my partner for my match. "Just keep them busy while I take them out, ok? You might be strong but you're just a pushover compared to the rest of us." I just rolled my draconic eyes and waved a hand, showing only a small amount of my dragon-slayer magic. This caused him to have a small panic attack. I decided to let him have even more, unleashing about 5 percent. This, which I loved, caused him to start hearing whatever he feared the most. He screamed and screamed until I ended it. "Don't you dare, ever, call me a pushover." The boy fell to the floor and started crawling away slightly. "Donnivan! We told you not to talk down to him!" The rest of their team gathered around to help the boy up.

Storm's POV

I process that Volgun's here, I wonder if he still hates me for being "praised" which I don't understand why he thinks that I'm, because... "Yo Storm you feeling better?" Ikrir asked me as he walked into the room with cuts and bruises all over him "Why are you going to ask me if I'm okay while you're covered with blood and bruises in my opinion that just freaking stupid, up next is Volgun's match you need need to watch closely. "I will from the top of the stadium you wanna come with me?", "Sure man I'm down." We head out our room and head for the roof.

Volgun's match

Volgun: Nightmare Cavern Dragon Terrifying Earth Collapse!!!

Donnivan: Shadow Dragon Roar!!!

Both of their attacks hit their opponents and knocked them out and won the match.

Ikrir's POV

As I watched Volgun's match I realized he use other elements with his Nightmare magic which means he can eat out magic to gain more power. I developed a plan to see if we can eat our element that he combines with his element when we face him, but we came to terms with that me or Storm need to beat him.
