Day 4 24th April (Saturday)
When I woke up, I couldn't believe that today was a holiday, 'Every Friday I think that "at last 2 days holiday I can relax now", On Saturdays "Just one day left to relax! And on Sundays OMG! Tomorrow is school!"' This I think happens with everyone! The Time was 9:30 am and my mom was making the breakfast.
"Son, if you are awake, come here and brush your teeth!" Mom cried from the kitchen.
"Yes...Mom!"I said as usually.
Well, all together I hated brushing my teeth. But what could I do! To clean my teeth first I had to get up then walk a few feet and then squeeze the toothpaste at last had to brush it. I loved sleeping, no homework, no working, no playing and no studies! Just sleeping and dreaming peacefully.
"Son, I told you to get up quickly!!!" She shouted so angrily that in a quick jerk I jumped from my bed and went to the basin...I brushed so quickly that all the bristles of toothbrush were damaged.
When I completed brushing my teeth, mom brought me a glass of plain milk with some Biscuits.
"Mom is it plain milk?" I asked rudely.
"Yes! Or what...I would bring you Poison!!" She replied'
"No!....I want Bourn Vita with it!" I said.
What she said was with uncontrollable anger and a word 'drink it' and she snapped the glass with noise & went to the kitchen.
I drank the milk quickly and then I gathered my energy for the work I disliked the most....Clean the house for my best bud!
For Charboda I cleaned my bed, Oh! Sorry beds, Sofa, tables and even sweeped the floor. Moping was a herd task but I did it.
In between mom kept asking me about who was coming I didn't reply. After the cleaning task I was looking more or less than a beggar.
Then at 12:40 my phone rang. It was Charboda told said him to come at 3:00 pm.
I had my breakfast early and then I ate my lunch at 2 'o'clock.
Then the time came I waited for the most, I heard a knock and ran towards it and opened the door.
I was my dad who was standing, he came inside.
Still exited I stand by the door waiting for him, I had given him my address and I hoped it was right.
Then I heard a knock again and quickly opened it. It was Charboda....'Charboda the Detective' in his prim and proper clothes looking like a small heighted kid with a little fat tummy... or sorry a little larger. People may take his character like a kid. But who knows how much smart he is!
"I faced many difficulties coming to your home, so serve your guest well!" He said opening his shoes.
I laughed and led him inside; he met mom dad and my elder sister and then I took him to my room.
"Your room looks nice, Aditya." He said.
"It's not like yours eventually." I added.
He asked me about my collections then I showed him Cha-cha Choudhary short comic collections I had.
Mom brought us lemonades and gave one to Charboda. He replied "No, No aunty I don't drink lemonades!"
"Why?" Mom asked.
"I am Diabetic...So I can't, sorry aunty!" He answered looking tensed.
I was shocked "Didn't you have a checkup, Nikhil?" Mom asked.
The word 'Nikhil' was like a flower bloom for Charboda as I suggested.
He answered politely "Yes, But there is no cure, Just you have to take insulin tablets or injection!"
We didn't like to ask him more of such questions. And then we started our discussion about the puzzle.
"Well, I don't think this puzzle would relate anything with the pencil theft!" I said to him when we sat on my bed.
"How can you prove it?" he asked smiling.
"I don't know but else we can try names of some of our classmates who may contain these 7 letters." I suggested.
"This we can do (paused) but it would take time!" Charboda said seriously.
In the meantime mom came and gave us some biscuits and milk. Charboda thanked her and drank the milk. As, we were eating both of us were trying to match the names of our class mates or names of things in the puzzle. But after few hours our energy drained out, and we cancelled the task.
"My little grey cells want some rest!" Charboda said.
"Little grey cells what is that?" I asked.
"Brain cells called neuron are little and grey colored, you didn't understand my abbreviation?" Charboda said with a chuckle.
"No, No I understood that but I was in doubt about the little green cells!" I said.
Charboda laughed, and then we decided to roam in the park cancelling the task.
In the park, I and Charboda sat with his bicycle's handle in his hands. Charboda started talking to me about his family & about his father who had died in the car accident when he was two years old.
I was sorry for him but then I told him about my family relations and our past. He listened to it very earnestly and didn't reply. After talking for some more time we both bid good bye and then I returned home.
My mom had planned that Charboda would dine with us tonight but Charboda Excused that his mother might be waiting for him and left my home.
After he went, my excitement drained. It was 6:00 Pm and then mom shouted "It's time for study! You have test tomorrow!"
"Not tomorrow! On Monday and went inside my Home!" I shouted.
Well today was a great day but tiring too.
'Tomorrow we shall definitely find the mystery of 7 signs.' I thought.
