Day 2 26rd April (Monday)
Today was a day I was waiting and not waiting most. Today was math's test and the day Ankita would provide us the final clue, the list of class bunkers. When I sat in the bus I waited for Charboda to come. The bus is improper in the timing of its arrival, today it came early.
After a few seconds the bus shook a little which meant that Charboda has arrived. He came beside me. We didn't talk for a few minutes. When the bus started I took out my maths book and started revising the chapters. Charboda didn't, he just sat silently. I didn't ask him how he had prepared for the test because I knew that he would as usually be first in class.
When we reached the school and got down the bus Charboda asked "Are you ready!" "For what?" I asked.
"For the maths test?" He asked.
"Yes, I think I am ready!" I said in terror.
He laughed and patted my shoulder and smiled.
"Good luck!" He said smiling.
"Same to you, Nikhil." I said.
As we moved towards the classroom our heart beat rapidly increased, well it was maths test. When we entered our class, I couldn't believe in my eyes that my classmates who were never interested in what has been taught in class were studying silently. Charboda looked at me and showed his expression like "What the ****".
We sank on our chairs and started revising. After a while the teacher came took our attendance and then begin giving the question sheets.
To explain, the question paper was the lengthiest paper in the history of exams. My hands started to pain within a few minutes and then my brain. As the test came to an end, few questions still unanswered the teacher snatched the sheet from my hands. I was shocked.
Some of my classmates them started crying as teacher snatched the papers, they begged the teacher to give them sheet for few seconds. Teacher refused, the classroom was in deep agony.
When the test ended Charboda and I started discussing the test papers. Just then someone patted my back. I turned to find who it was.
"Do you want the names of the class bunkers Pencil thief?" Ankita Mocked.
Charboda's eyes shone and he said "Yes! But who is pencil thief?"
"He is!" Ankita said pointing to me.
"I am not a pencil thief, Okay!" I said rudely.
"Sorry, Pencil thief!" she mocked again.
For some time, she looked at us and then handed us the sheet. Our main clue!
1. Rakesh
2. Pukul
3. Abhishant
4. Darsh
5. Abhay
6. Punnit
"How many were caught later!" I asked.
"What do you mean?" Ankita asked.
"I mean that how many went to the boys bathroom and caught later?" Charboda refined.
"As per my dad, three were caught later after day!" She said.
"Who were they?" I asked.
"Mmm, they were...I will tell you later!"
When we turned forward Maths teacher there was standing with a ruler in his hands and shouted "Get out of the class!" I and Charboda looked at each other and were forced outside.
