The 7 Signs

Chapter 8

Day 3 25rd April (Sunday)

The day was as same as it was yesterday but this time there was some twist in it.

When I woke up in the morning and brushed my teeth. Mom like yesterday gave me a glass of milk (Without Bourn vita) and some biscuits. Tomorrow was math test and the second last day before Charboda could solve the puzzle.

At 10:30 am mom gave me the phone telling that it was Nikhil. I answered him by telling him to come home at the same time as yesterday but he refused and said to me to come to his home at once.

I was panicked and confused. I told mom about it but she refused. Charboda told me to hand the phone to my Mother. I don't know what he said to my mother and then she agreed.

"What did he say?" I asked.

"That you two have some important project! Why didn't you tell me about it?" She said in surprised tone.

"Oh! I forgot, I was tensed because of my math test..." I laughed.

"Mmm, OK you can go! But come back before night." She told. 

After doing some house chores and eating my breakfast, I went out of my house with a bicycle at 12:10 Pm.

In between the way I witnessed a car accident. One motorcycle was crushed by a big car, the driver of motorcycle appeared dead. Crowd gathered around the victim on the center of the road triggering a traffic jam. I was trapped in the jam, but was cycling and crossing the steady cars swiftly. Sometimes, I had to walk to save my cycle from being scratched by the cars.

I heard an ambulance coming towards the spot where it happened. After a struggle of few minutes the road was clear I rode out smoothly.

When I reached Charboda's house, I was shocked to see him waiting outside. Unexpectedly He was wearing his night clothes, but they looked fashionable.

"Come in fast!" Charboda shouted and ran towards the gate.

I parked my bicycle and went inside. As we entered his room Charboda handed me a paper. There was written the text of 7 jumbled words and its right meaning:

"'Utkarsh'..... you found the classmate Charboda!" I shouted happily.

"I took time but it was easy to do, the main puzzle was like the letter 'u' was in the center of the signs and 't' was in the left side of 'u' and then 'k' was in right side like this left-right combination formed the puzzle." Charboda explained to me.

"Now the culprit would leave Utkarsh!" I asked.

"Culprit doesn't know about our achievement. He would think that we are not knowing about the answer of this puzzle. So we should pretend that we do not know about the right answer of the sign so it would give him confidence and he would do something to hurt Utkarsh, there we will caught him!" said Charboda.

"It's a great plan Charboda! You have become are a real detective now." I exclaimed.

"I don't know....Maybe I need more perfection!" Charboda replied.

We discussed our plan for some more time and then said farewell to each other. I rode towards my home.

When I reached my home at 2:05 Pm (Too early than my mom prescribed.) the lunch was ready to be served. I ate my lunch and went to sleep.

After when I was woken up by mom at 4:30 Pm, She told that they (She and Dad) were going to watch a movie and was shocked that I wasn't going there.

But, the luck itself turned and they agreed to take me and sister. So, We went to watch an action movie at PvR cinemas, the movie was great and funny. I didn't notice that I had missed calls from Charboda In the interval.

When I saw it and then called Charboda.

"Hello Aditya are you free?" I asked.

"Sorry, Nikhil I am buisy watching a movie!" I said.

"Oh! Sorry Aditya! I shall tell it to you tomorrow, bye!" He said and quickly hung up the phone.

"Hello...Hello Charboda! Oh! He disconnected the phone." I murmured.

After the movie ended, I tried to call Charboda but his phone was switch off. When we came home at 8 pm. Mom eyed me and told me to revise the chapters quickly.

I too sighed and went on making math problems. But I kept thinking about what Charboda wanted to tell me so eagerly on the phone. After revising the chapters I ate the dinner and slept.
