Chapter Five

I fell in to a deep slumber without any tension or strain. I was at ease and happy upon her return so falling asleep under the influence of alcohol was effortless to me. The heavy thunder and lightning kept thrashing everywhere in the dark gloomy sky; storm has gotten even stronger.

In my dreamless sleep I began to hear a rhythmic nocturnal humming. It is so soothing like a lullaby of a mother humming to her baby. Even though I was subconsciously lulled to its rhythm; I force myself to open my eyes. I saw her lying next to me on my bed staring at me with her bright red eyes while caressing my head and humming a tune.

"SAYA...!" I suddenly spoke her name as a lightning went crashing at the same time.

"Hush now... my little Han... sleeeeeep" she whispered.

I was kind of shocked to see her so close in the dark of my room.

I tried to get off the bed, and she held my hand against the bed. She is so strong that I couldn't even think of moving.

"SAYA...! WHAT ARE..." I tried to speak up and she laid her fingers against my lips.

"Hussshhhh... and relax... let yourself go..." she whispered with a slight manic giggle and smiled at me.

I calmed myself down because there is no way I could force any kind resistance against her will with that strength. She could crush me like a bug if she wanted to.

"Just let me stay with you... so I could watch you sleep" she whispered.

"Alright... you can stay... but..." I said.

"No buts and ifs now, close your eyes... and relax; go back to your dreamless sleep while I sing you a lullaby..." she said.

I closed my eyes and she laid her head against the pillow next to me while staring at me with a smile. She kept on humming a tune while caressing my head.

Next morning... 7:30a

James walked in to my room as usual by opening the room's door. He wakes me up in the morning because I hate waking up for the alarms. Soon as he took few steps to open the blinds he saw her sleeping next to me on my bed. She had her hand across my chest.

"GOOD HEAVENS!" he said to himself with a gasp as he never expected to see her.

At the same time I opened my eyes and saw him right there staring at us.

I slowly but steadily took her hand away from me. She is deep in her sleep, I quickly got down the bed with a "Hush" gesture at James because he seemed as if he just saw a ghost.

"SHhhhh!" I whispered and pushed him along with myself outside the room and gently closed the door behind.

"I knew it would come to this master Han... If your father knew this, he'd probably have my head on a spike in the mansion's garden" James kept on blabbering before I started to speak.

"It is not what it seems so quit blabbering like an ol' grandma" I said.

"I really don't mind what you do with your personal life sir but that girl..." he paused and rubbed his forehead feeling awkward to continue on the topic.

"What if she carries some kind of a parasitic virus...? She may look like one but she is not a human being, think about yourself sir. All I care about is your wellbeing" James went on.

"James will you quit whining and listen to me for a second?" I said.

He went silent.

"Last night... I was sleeping peacefully and in the middle of the night I heard a rhythmic humming. When I open my eyes she was there... I don't know how she got in to my room, I wanted to send her away but she didn't want to go... she held me and forced me to sleep next to her. You have no idea how strong she is James... I couldn't even budge; her grip was like steel. I didn't want to oppose her because I was afraid I'd annoy her, she could have crushed my head like a bug with that kind of strength" I said.
