Chapter Nine

Next morning...!

I woke up feeling heavy-headed. I checked the time and it is 6:30a in the morning. I walked over to the large glass window overlooking the sea. The sky is still very gloomy but the rainy weather has subsided a little. The lightning and thunder still grace the sky.

I walked outside my room while still being in my night robes and it is freezing cold outside due to the stormy weather. I saw James coming this way.

"Good morning master...! Now I see that you are up already," he said.

"Morning James..." I said followed by a lazy yawn.

"Would you rather prefer to have your breakfast in bed or...?" James said.

"It's alright James... I'll have it in the dining room..." I said.

"Very well Master..." he said while leading the way.

"I am truly sorry about the last night Master..." James began to apologize for what has happened last night.

"It's over now... no need to go back there again James..." I said.

"I didn't see Miss Saya yet, so I believe she is still asleep in her bedroom. She never requested a wake up as well...!" James said.

"It's alright... let her be, As long as she likes, maybe she needs to rest..." I said.

James led me to the dining room and he served me my breakfast immediately. While I was having my morning coffee I went through the weather and it says the stormy weather will continue later into the afternoon.

"Excuse me master...! Alan has informed me that he will be at the laboratory in half an hour..." James said while coming back into the dining room.

"Very well...! Then I shall see him there...!" I said after finishing my coffee.

"Oh by the way James... If Saya happens to go looking for me after she wakes up, you know where to find me right...?" I said while quickly standing up and walking away.

"Very well sir...! I will bring her there myself..." He replied.

Half an hour later,

Alan was there by the time I walked into the laboratory. Initially, he was eager to speak to me, but soon after he saw me, he was shocked. Even though my condition was much better compared to last night he put me through many tests to see if my vitals are functioning properly. He put me on the fully automated med-bed and took some of my blood samples to be tested manually. Even though I tried to build up a conversation, he was too busy to talk with me.

I have fallen asleep on the med-bed and then woke up for the sound of the door opening.

"Alan..., Tell me what's going on...?" I asked him.

He walked over to me and sighed.

"You are a fool to be playing around with Saya...! I just can't believe you let her feed on your blood even after I told you specifically that she is dangerous. Have you gone out of your mind Han...? She could have drained all your blood and killed you in a matter of minutes. Do you have any idea what you are dealing with here...? Saya is not a human being; take it through your thick skull..." Alan kept yelling at me endlessly until the visitor indicator appeared near the door.

The door opens and James walked in.

"How is master Han...?" he asked in a concerned tone.

"So far, there is nothing to worry about..." Alan said while rubbing his forehead.
