Was all Veronica saw as she woke up in hospital praying that it was a big nightmare But it was her soul crashing reality.
All she wanted was to be next to Pea. To help him but now she's in the hospital and not as a visitor.
Veronica... are okay ? Said a voice.
Veronica turned her head to see Cheryl. Looking at her with pure sadness in her glossy bright blue eyes. They where almost blood shot from crying Veronica bursted into tears and Cheryl warped her arms around the shorter girl
" shhh it's ok v it's okay " Cheryl soothes as rubbed veronica hair like a dog. "It's my fault"
Veronica shouted in angrier and sadness she cried once more her tears flooding out of her like a waterfall
"Pea..." She whispered.
"I'll take you to him Hop in." Cheryl brought her a wheelchair in. Veronica popped into the chair as Cheryl transported her to the other side of the hospital.
As was wheeled she smelled the stench of death and sweat she heard people saying there humble goodbyes to there loved ones and people crying It made her stomach turn .
Cheryl stoped the chair turning to her friend in need " it be okay ronnie I promise ... he is okay he is stable "
"I need to speak to him" She whispered.
Cheryl simply nodded in understanding she wheeled once more to pea room once there Veronica saw a crying fangs by his best friend bed side and a very nervous jughead biting his nails and being comforted by Betty next to her was Toni was Sitting down on a chair trying to avoid Everyone.
She didn't want to show her emotions.
But alas she failed
"Pea, baby come back to me! Open your eyes." Veronica whispered through her tears holding his hands in hers .
Then his machine started going crazy he was flatlining.
"Noooo not you please not you ...please pea "she begged as she cried for her true love to make it.
Then everything fell silent as nurses pushed everyone out of the room so they could save his life once more for a 2nd time that day
