Another Way Brother (Chapter 18)

So Akeno and you are going to have a baby girl. You promise her that she will be a great mother to your future child and a great wife. You will be there for both of them for the rest of your life. Your twin brother wont win this war you are sure of it.

Huh your brother? You remember the good times you had with him when you were younger before your family split. But for some reason you didnt remember when this sacred gear transfer to you. Why did he turn evil? Why did your father turn out the way he did? Your mother used to tell you how good he was when they were together before you two were born.

Did you cause your father  to go mad? Did he want a war in the first place? Or was there something more in him? You wont know these questions since your father is gone now. You dont blame your mother for striking him down the way she did. You are her baby after all. You just wish you could have ask him that is all.

"You ok babe?" Akeno rubs your back.

"Oh I am just lost in thought about all the events that has happen." You smile weakly.

"I know what you mean dear. All honestly maybe your father and brother isnt bad after all. I mean they did bad things, but I dont know how to explain it."

"How you know I was thinking about them?"

"I am a woman after all its not hard to tell. Plus I was in the same spot before." Akeno holds your hands.

"What you mean?"

You felt the warmth of Akeno's hands. You always love holding her hands you felt much better by doing it. You look at her beautiful eyes and smiled more at her. You couldn't believe she will be your wife soon enough and starting a family soon as well. Will your daughter take after her or you more? Maybe both?

"I hated my father for the longest time. I blame him for my mother's death for not being able to protect her when I was young. I didnt even want to talk to him  anymore. But I was wrong and made amends with him." Akeno continues

"I am not saying you should forgive or even make amends with them at all. They hurt you deeply and did horrible things. But I still feel like they still love you. And I know you feel the same about them. You guys are family still after all."

"Thats a lot Akeno its truly is and I am deeply sorry you lost your mother at a young age. And you are right I still love them, but its hard too when they done so many things to us. All honestly the only thing I want back is my brother I miss the times I had with him." A tear falls from your eye.

Akeno quickly hugs you and kisses your lips. She holds you tightly and rubs your back telling everything will be alright. You guys hug each other for a few minutes before you let each other go.

Later that night.

It was pouring rain as you sit on the couch flicking through the channels to see if there was anything on tv. Everyone else was fast asleep in the house.  You still havent seen your mother or Azazal since that day. You are still hoping they aren't dating by any chance. Calling Azazal daddy would be so weird that it sends chill down your back as you shudder. Yet your mother deserve to be happy and Azazal isnt a bad dude either.

"Man dont think this rain will every let up." As you stretch.

The rain kept on coming along with the thunder and lighting. The whole house felt like it shook at some times. It reminds you the day you active you sacred gear.  The lighting, the rain and everything felt the same as back then like it does today.

"Something feels different." Orochi said.

"Jesus you sacred me. I am still not used to someone talking from inside of my body. And what do you mean by different?"

"You cant say you feel the same either. Or maybe you do, you are an idiot after all."

"Rude that is straight up rude Orochi." You sigh.

"You will get over it. Yet I mean, I dont feel my brother in this world anymore. I do and dont its like he is weak. Something must have happen between your brother and mine."

"Like what? Doesnt the gear line with the user whoever they are?" You ask.

"How the hell I am suppose to know like what? I just want to know whats going on now. Your brother should have made his move by now and if he didnt mine surly should have. We are destiny to fight! I am sicking of waiting if you dont make a move then I will!" Orochi yells.

"Will you shut up already? You tried to make you move once I am not letting you take control of me first, I rather die before that happens again. I never met a more annoying thing than you before."

Orochi went quiet after that. He went whenever he goes when he isnt talking to you. You wish you never had this sacred gear in the first place. You check your watch as it says its a quarter pass midnight now. You get up and was about to head up stairs to sleep next to Akeno until you heard a knock on the door. You wondering who the hell is knocking at this time of the night.

"Who the fuck could be knocking?"

You walk to the door and open it ready for everything if someone is going to attack you will stop it before it lays a finger on anyone in here. Yet your twin brother is standing in front of you with his hair soak in the pouring rain.

"Hello my brother." He said softly

Belial had a weak smile on his face. Yet his smile didnt look evil at all it had a pity to it. Your first thought was this is a trick there is no way he be here unless he wanted to kill you. You had you sacred gear active waiting for a trick to happen. Yet he just stands there. You look closely in the pouring rain at him till you notice blood was dripping on the ground.

"Why are you bleeding?" You ask.

"I heard everything." he spoke softly again.

"Kill him now! Hes weak! He doesnt have the gear anymore!" Orochi yells.

"Weak?" You raise an eyebrow.

"You sacred gear speaks the truth, I am weak. I wont be able to hold you back anymore if you choose to strike me down."

Belial shows his hand well what used to be where his hand went. Orochi was right you even felt your brother is much weaker than before. Belial slowly smiles again and started to fall foward from losing too much blood. Your first instinct was catching him before he fully fell. You dont know why you did it either.

"Like I said, I heard everything. I  thought you hated me. We were always un separable you and I. Twins forever we thought. I decided to make my own destiny and screw what our father wanted and these piss ass dragons." Belial closes his eyes.

"Kill him now! You have a chance kill him!" Orochi yells again.

"My brother is right Orochi. Screw your destiny your brother is no more in my brother. I wont forgive him for what he has done, but he still family. So piss off with your quarrel."

All honestly this has been a thought for the longest time. I wanted to do something totally different from my other stories. Instead of making it upsetting
