A few hours later, Dan emerged from his bedroom very quietly, but I still heard his heavy feet on the hard floor.

"Dan?" I spun around in my seat, craning my neck to see him standing there, head pointed at the floor and his hands in his jean pockets. "What was all that about?"

"I-it was nothing. Want to order pizza and watch a movie?" He sounded unusually cheery.

"Um, sure," I respected Dan so I decided to just go along with it. If he wanted to talk about what happened earlier, then he would, "what do you want to watch?"

"How about a horror?" he said with too much enthusiasm.

"But Dan, you hate horror? You always beg not to watch them," I was puzzled as to why Dan, probably the most scared person by horror films ever born, wanted to watch a horror film, "what's changed?"

"Nothing has changed, Phil, I just feel like watching one that's all! You don't need to be so judgemental!" He yelled as he picked himself up from the patch of sofa and hastily walked out of the lounge into the bathroom and locked the door.

"Dan?" I jogged to the bathroom and lightly knocked on the door, "Dan, what's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Obviously there is"

"Nope, just leave me alone, Phil. I'm fine, I will be out in a minute."

"Okay." I said with doubt, but I traipsed back to where I was sitting and started to scroll through tumblr and look at my YouTube comments. I don't understand what's going on with Dan, he's really not himself. What am I going to do?
