annoying alien boy:
> hey
> would you mind if i called you tonight?

sam still couldn't believe that he agreed with colby calling him tonight. well, maybe it would be easier for him if they would just talk, like phone-to-phone call, but no, colby had to come up with this stupid idea of talking through skype.

he was nervous, really nervous. he could  barely hold the spoon in  his  hand  as he ate dinner with his family.

he knew being this nervous was just stupid and childish  but hey, who wouldn't be nervous if they had to talk with someone they met online for the first time? with someone, who is actually starting  to  become  very important to you?

he was more afraid that colby would've  imagined him in a whole different way so  seeing and hearing  him  would just disappoint the boy and in worst case,  colby would stop texting him.

"oh my god, sam! what is wrong with you? why are you bothered by such childish issues?" he asked himself as his palm landed on his sweaty forehead.

as he fell on his bed, he took a really deep  breath and noticed  that his ceiling somehow was hypnotizing.  the longer he stared  at it without blinking,  the more he thought about his messages with colby.

even  if they haven't known  each other for that long, they, or at  least  sam,  felt really comfortable texting each other. sometimes even too comfortable  since  they  talked  about  literally  anything,  kept  messing  around,  saying  all  kinds  of  dumb  things.

he was so thankful  that he got to know colby.  never would he have  imagined or wished  for  having such a friend.  he  has  quite  a  few  friends  but  no  one  treats  him  the  way  colby  treats  him.

at the thought of the boy, his phone screen lit up and the phone began to ring. sam picked it up in a speed of lightning, or maybe even faster, almost falling off his bed. as he looked at the screen, corners of his mouth immediately raised up; he simply couldn't stop himself from smiling when "annoying alien boy" popped up on his phone.

what a wreck of nerves he became at that moment.

"should answer immediately? or maybe wait a little so it doesn't look like i'm desperate? but what if miss the call and he'll get angry?"

while  such questions started filling his head, he didn't notice that by a mistake, he answered colby's call.
