I don't know how you're able to look like that
The perfect angle
At the perfect time
It's like you opened the front camera
And with one click
It was the perfect reflection
The perfect surface
Of a girl I hardly know
But know well enough to say
That you are more beautiful than I am
It's like you were born to be flawless
So many people
Were born to be flawless
There are days when I want to be loud like you
To make a statement without saying a single word
To be beautiful in a world that loves to see the ocean
But is too afraid to dive within
To post a photo a photo of yourself
And not being afraid of only getting a single like
Because you know you'll get a hundred or more
When will I stop wanting to be like you?
When will I stop craving
For the attention that follows you
And fills your stomach with butterflies?
How does it feel
To be called beautiful
By a boy I once wished
Would call me beautiful too?
