Part 8: RUNNING AWAY FROM THE PAST.

"sorry anish and sorry Ankit, I can't take it anymore... I can't able to bear that lady for any cost ... sorry try to forgive me and please don't try to find me... I am totally fine without you guys... please don't ruin that"

- anish and Ankit found anika's letter in her room and found her missing, Where on the other hand anika boarded her flight and reached newyork again. 

she rushed into her apartment and straightly went towards the washroom, opened the shower and sat on the floor with a numb reaction where the glimpse of her bitter past started to hit her to an extent where she was trying to think something beyond that but she can't make it ... soon after some time, she fainted on the floor.

In Nat's fashion world, 

nats phone started to ring and she attended the call.

hello! - nats.

I am coming... st..stay with her... I will be in 30 mins. - nats stammered in the phone call and drove her car fastly.

nats knocked on the door where a white lady opened the door and said: "I found her unconscious in her washroom".

"thanks, liela.. for taking care of her" - nats replied with a smile and excused herself and went back.

where anika opened her eyes and faintly looked at nats who are watching her for a long time. she bowed her head down in shame and she forcefully made her look at her but anika denied to meet her eyes. 

for god sake can you tell me what happened? - nats yelled at her.

she remained silent where nats became impatient and asked again. 

she ... came ...back.. - anika managed to tell.

who? - nats questioned her.

the one who gave me birth rather than aborting me. - anika said while unknowingly her eyes are welled up with tears and pain. nats who was hell angry at her came and hugged her tightly where she buried her face in her chest and cried badly. 

 okay ... relax... - nats said and patted her back where she was continuously sobbing.

she made her rest in the couch and went to the kitchen to make some coffee for her. she forcefully gave coffee to her and made her eat cornflakes. anika respect nats to the core for her she is like her mom where her age is equivalent to her mom's age. for nats, she is more than her own children as she was the one who stood there as her support when her own son left her alone. 

"I really have no idea, why are you running away from them?" - nats questioned her while sipping her coffee.

"I am not running away, I am just avoiding them"- anika replied calmly.

if you know you can't able lie in front of me, then why the hell you're lying? - nats replied in a rude tone.

"there's no place for any other wounds in my heart nats" - anika said with teary eyes.

"anika... be strong" - nats said in a consoling voice.

yeah, I was strong... but when she came in front of with that bloody puppy face... I become weak... I really can't able to recall what I said? what did she reply? everything seems to be blank...  - anika said with teary eyes and heartful of sorrows.

okay ... leave... let's forget about that... let's concentrate on our new show... have some sleep... I will come tomorrow morning to pick you up... I hope you don't do any stupid things like this again. - nats said and left the place.

where anika covered herself in a duvet and buried her face on knees and slept in the same position she didn't want to recall that moment but it kept on come between her eyes. but one thing stuck like chewing gum in her mind that "she will make her strong".

with that hope and doing lots of promise to herself she opened her eyes from her sleep and went to washroom made herself ready, went back to her work and immersed herself in the new show of their company. 

okay? - nats questioned her.

woke up with a hope... let's see.. - she blinked her eyes in a positive way. 

that's my girl ... be strong ... - nats said to her and they continued with her work.

15 days went in a jiffy especially anika didn't even know how these 15 days went as she was submerged herself in the work tried to divert her mind but she succeeds in that. finally, she overcomes those incidents happened in Anish's engagement and become normal. but the thing is she didn't relieve herself from the past still those glimpses haunt her. 

she came out from her office while crossing the road she got a call from nats, she immediately picked the call without noticing the road signal which turned out red by that time. by then a hand came and dragged her made her come out of the thought. she immediately ran faster towards the other end and said thanks to that man without looking at his face.

"be carefull" - he replied where anika looked at his face in shock without sheding any words.

You!!! - Anika said where her eyes are widely opened in a shock.

Hello ... How are you? - that man asked her ...
