I watched my brother intently as he lay sprawled on the back of my bed, having just told me the story of this evening.
Apparently, Liam and Hayden were out in the woods, doing God knows what, I'm not interested in that, but they found a kid there. And a car, with a strangely absent front window. It didn't look like a usual spider-web bullet mark that would remain on the glass – it was completely shattered.
Also, the bits of glass got this teal tint on them.
"So... you think there's a new enemy?" I questioned, scanning his brown orbs.
"I don't think Lydia or Malia want to recognize that, but yeah. There's definitely something off, and I think we need to be ready for whatever's coming."
I remained silent as I regarded Stiles. It's so hard for me to concentrate on something else than my newly found evil alter ego, because I constantly worry about something cruel that I might do unconsciously.
"Well..." I exhaled. "Whatever it is, at least I'll finally be of some use to you guys."
My words made my brother turn his head towards me, a disapproving look on his face. "Silvie, you always helped."
He sat up and scooted closer to me, draping a caring arm around my feeble shoulder. "You always were and will be the best."
He smirked as he punched me playfully in the stomach, and despite my eternal gloomy state, I couldn't help but giggle.
I looked into his eyes with genuine love and gratitude. "Thanks, Stiles."
I snaked my arms around his waist and snuggled to his chest. "I don't want you to go away."
"I'm not going away just yet." He reassured me, hugging me back.

From afar, I watched and giggled how Stiles continuously ruined Malia's attempts to pose for a yearbook photo. I approached their table as Malia gave up posing.
I missed the first bits of the conversation, but got the immense pleasure of listening to the continuation of their bickering.
"You ruined it." Grunted Malia.
"Why would I want to ruin your yearbook photo?"
"Maybe because you haven't signed up for your own photo yet?"
"Yes, I did." He pulls out the crumpled papers and presents it to Malia.
"It's blank!"
I furrowed my brows, because I clearly remember Stiles signing the appointment sheet.
Maybe he got lost in his papers and simply took the empty one – God knows what happens in that mind of his.
"Or maybe you're sublimating the stress of graduating by avoid key milestones." Scott spoke, sounding like a true psychology professor.
After our intense glances, Scott explained that it's psych paper, almost confirming my earlier thoughts.
"So, the Deputy searched the car. No slugs, no exit hole. And the address Alex gave our dad, it's an abandoned house." Stiles began the report. "Come on! Missing parents, suspicious guy on horseback, magic bullet. Who's coming with?"
"I've got to retake my photos." Malia stated.
"Yeah, not interested." Lydia mumbled.
"I cannot miss anymore classes." Scott said, suffering evident in his voice.
"Scott, Scott –"
"I missed 38 last semester." Scott interrupted my brother's pleading. "And Lydia's mom is the only reason I'm still in school. I can go after school."
