Chaser Past (Hiccstrid)

Prologue

Astrid laid on the sofa. She was really bored. This weekend started like every others. Studied, read nothing especial. 

,,What take you so long guys?" she asked herself. She was waiting for fourteen minutes maybe. She knew that Ruffnut need a lot of time to dress up and others, but it was more than the ordinary delay.'But who knows? Maybe Ruff will be stunning tonight more than usual.' she thought. 

After a while the bell started to ring. She got up and slowly went to the door. 

,,Hey Ast!"shouted Heather and hugged her.

 ,,What take you so long? I'm ready for hours." sighed with smile. 

,,It so obvious..." said Ruffnut while she was looking at Astrid's outfit. ,,I mean you look amazing like every single day." rolled her eyes. Ruff always had a rude style but inside she was the greatest friend beside Heather. They completed each other. 

,,So can we go?" Astrid asked. 

,,Sure." the two girl answered simultaneously and the three friend got into Heather's car.

,,So what's the plan?" Astrid asked while she put her hair behind her ear. 

,,Go to Snotlout's house, have an awesome game-night...He has got a new Xbox game and it's awesome! I loved it when..." cheered Ruff. 

,,When?" Heather rised her eyebrow. ,,When did you play with him alone?" she asked suspiciously. 

,,Oh yeah...I wanted to talk about this girls I really wanted" she pretended to cry but then she started to laugh hard. ,,But I forgot. Anyway it was just a 'friendly hang out'. Don't blow it up."

,,Ohh my good it is incredible! And tonight is the second date?" smiled Heather. 

,,Yeah definitely with you guys and Fishlegs. It will be a 'gang-date'." she laughed harder. Astrid thinks that Ruff will drown because of the laughing. 

It was a good topic to talk about while they were traveling but she can't advise or anything, because she didn't date for two years. She didn't care about boys, she wanted to take a break in 'romantic-things'. She had bad experiences. 

,,Do you Ast?" Ruffnut looked at her. 

,,Sorry...what? I lost  you..." she tried to get the things but she couldn't. 

,,Don't you wanna date, do you?" 

,,No, definitely not. I need to concentrate on my studies."

,,You have said that for years." Heather said while she was parking the car. ,,I mean it's okay if it's good for you. We just want the best for you."

,,I know that guys. But don't worry I'm okay." she smiled and got out the car.

,,Get them Snot, get theeeem!!!" Ruff screamed while she was sitting next to him. 

,,If you scream I can't focus on the lane geez." he grinned. 

Ruffnut and Snotlout were sitting on the floor in front of the TV. Fishlegs and Heather were sitting near them. Heather took the controller and tried to knock out Snotlout's character. Tuff was cheering hardly. He sang and danced like a cheerleader. Astrid laid on the sofa waiting for her round. She wanted to win this game. 

That was an idyllic scene. They were playing, laughing together. Having a good night. They were friends since the first day of high school. They were in the same class. It was amazing that they got on well like that. Sometimes it seemed like they are all sisters and brothers. While Astrid was staring at the screen and thinking, the bell started to ring. 

,,Oh the pizza has arrived! Astrid could you open the door please? There is money on the table." Snotlout shouted. Astrid got up and took the money. She walked to the door slowly and opened it. 

,,Oh...Hey Goldie."

,,OHHHHH YOU CHEATED I KNOW IT! IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN THAT GAME FROM YOUR SITE!" Snotlout roared. 

Fishlegs and Heather grinned. They have won the game again. Second win tonight. They led the scoreboard. Heather slowly looked at the hall's door. Astrid has already been out for five minutes. 

,,Astrid! Everything is fine?" she asked. 

Tuffnut got up and went after Astrid. 

,,Hey Ast...Hiccup?" he astonished. ,,Guys...it doesn't seem like pizza." he said and tried to pull the frozen Astrid back. 

In that moment Heather and Ruff arrived to the hall.

 ,,Oh my god." they both said.
