Two weeks had passed, and it was two days before Winter Break, otherwise known the day before the dance.

All the girls were hanging around my desk and we were talking about what we were doing after school, and you want to know what it was? Dress shopping.

When we first talked about this subject last week, I wasn't excited at all. In fact, I was telling Uraraka that I didn't want to wear a dress to the dance, and after what felt like a million years of my friend convincing to get one, I finally would. Nothing fancy, just a simple dress.

"Should we all leave school together and go shopping?" suggested Ashido.

"I like that idea, Ashido, plus it will be quicker," said Yaoyorozu.

Uraraka nodded, "Okay, that settles it! We'll all leave together and pick our dresses out for tomorrow!"

"Yay," I murmured, still kinda not excited about the whole shopping thing.

In all honesty, I wasn't that excited about the dance either. Yeah, I was pretty pumped about it a few weeks ago, but when Todoroki told me we couldn't hang out that much anymore and he couldn't date anyone, the chances of seeing him at the dance was pretty unlikely. I was happy to go if Todoroki would have been there, but no, his father has to be a big butt hole (sorry for my language, but it's unfair!)

Uraraka poked me in the shoulder, "Cheer up a little, shopping isn't that bad!"

I gave her the are-you-freaking-kidding-me-I-almost-died-because-of-shopping look and said, "I don't believe you."

My friend playfully rolled her eyes and all the girls kept talking about the whole shopping thing while I sat at my desk, playing around with my pencil. Shopping was part of the reason why I was so down.

I didn't tell my friends about what Todoroki said to me because I didn't want them to feel sorry for me, and plus it was kinda hard to talk about. Ever since that day in The Common Area, I have been feeling a little sad and I have barely seen Todoroki these past weeks, and that just made me feel even worse.

The class then started and Mr. Aizawa told us to shut up (no joke) and get in our assigned seats. I caught a glimpse of Todoroki seating in his seat all the way across the room, he looked down at his desk and looked sort of...depressed? I haven't seen him like this in a while, I wonder what was going on with him.

While Mr. Aizawa was talking, I was doodling in my Hero Analysis Notebook, not paying attention that much. Suddenly, a piece of pink sticky note paper flew onto my desk and I got startled by it. There was writing on it.

Why do you look so sad? You're not normally like that, did something happen?

~Uraraka

I took out my pack of sticky notes and wrote a note back to her.

I'm fine, just really tired from all the training and work we have to do. Don't worry!

When I gave Uraraka the note she gave me a look that read concerned, and she was about to throw another note back to me when Mr. Aizawa yelled, "Don't be throwing notes in my classroom, Ms. Midoriya, and Ms. Uraraka!"

"Sorry, Mr. Aizawa!" Uraraka and I apologized at the same time, and the homeroom teacher went back to his job.
