Thirty Two

It's been a week. A whole entire week since Shoto left UA High School. On Monday I was a complete mess, so the teachers told me to take the week off since they knew this was hard for me. Mr. Aizawa first vetoed the idea, then decided it would be best for me to take some time off of school.

I was sitting in my apartment on the couch, wearing my PJ's and munching on some snacks. When my mom found about Shoto's absence, she was surprised and comforted me the whole week. A month or so ago Shoto and I told my mom we were dating, instead of acting shocked, she jumped up and down yelling, "I knew it would happen! I knew it would happen!"

"Honey?" My mother called for me while walking out of the kitchen, "I'm going to work now, and I won't be home until ten. Make sure to go to sleep early since you have school tomorrow, I love you."

"Love you too, mom," I told her somewhat monotone.

My mom walked over to me and gave me one of her famous hugs, "it'll be okay, sweetie. I promise you, it will. I know from experience." After she said that, she gave me a sad smile.

I smiled softly, trying to be positive like my mom. She was the strongest person I knew. Yeah, All Might was literally the strongest person I know and one of my role models, but my biggest one would have to be my mom. Nothing could change that.

She kissed me on the top of my head before walking out the door, "bye, Izuku!"

"Bye, mom!" I told my mom.

Shutting the front door, my mom left the apartment. I decided to take a shower since I haven't taken one in a couple of days. I walked into the bathroom and got ready for my shower. Turning on the hot water, I walked in and washed myself up. Feeling a lot better now that I was finally getting clean.

I finished my shower, slipped into some clean clothes, and sat down on my bed. I wasn't ready to go back to school, to be honest...Usually, when I was feeling nervous or doubtful, Shoto was there to comfort me. Now, he's gone...

Knowing what Endeavor is like, I knew I probably would never see Shoto ever again. He made it pretty clear that he didn't want his son to have distractions like me in his life, and Endeavor knows how to get what he wants.

Laying down, I accidentally hit my phone with my hand. I checked to see if it was okay, and I saw that I hit the camera roll. Right away I saw a picture that made a few tears fall from my eyes.

It was a picture of me and Shoto. We were both at the park where we first kissed and eating ice cream on a bench. While I was taking the picture, Shoto did that trick where he told me to smell the ice cream and then he shoved it onto my nose. I slammed ice cream onto his face too and we took a picture with us having ice cream all over our faces, along with dorky smiles.

I looked at the picture, then started scrolling through all my photos. (Mainly the album in my camera roll named 'Shoto and Me <3' don't judge the name okay?) I kept seeing pictures of me and Shoto either hanging out together at school, our dorms, outside school, or with our friends.

Every photo I passed, I kept feeling sadder that all of this got taken away from me. My boyfriend, happiness, love, everything. I've had enough and moved away from my phone and decided to go to sleep, even though it was super early.

...

I woke up the next already wanting to go back to sleep. But, I had to get ready for school. I got into my uniform, brushed my teeth, and went into the kitchen to grab some breakfast. I didn't bother brushing my hair since it was always a mess anyway.

"Have a good day at school, baby," said my mother.

"Thanks, mom. Love you," I gave her a hug, grabbed my stuff, and walked out of the apartment I didn't leave for a whole entire week.
