_Backstory~ Norah (part 1)_

Norah's POV:
Howard and I had been talking about our newest study on technological development as well as some other science things we've been working on together and I look over to Peggy to see that she's bored out of her mind guess its time to change the subject.

"Maybe we should talk about this some other time. Peggy hows the organisation going? have we found a building? oh! and the name what are we going to call it?"

"No, we haven't found a buildi-"

peggy was just about to finish when Howard interrupted.

"I have a building that I can get for the organisation"

" would you do that Howard?"

I asked in awe.

"of course I would, you say that like I'm the worst person on the planet."

Peggy chuckled as I rolled my eyes at Howard's comment and how quickly he got annoyed. as I looked over to the clock I noticed the time.

"it's getting late, I think I'm going to start walking home"

howard looked at me like I was crazy.

"what is it?"

I asked slightly confused.

"you're not actually walking home are you?"

howard asked concerned. there was a small silence then i answered.

"why yes I am. i-"

once again Howard cut me off.

"ill drop you off its dangerous."

"Howard."

peggy sternly said.

"this is Norah we're talking about, she's not going to take no for an answer"

"guys I'm just walking home I don't even live that far it's only a block away."

I sat there as Howard and Peggy bickered not taking ant notice towards me, I wrote a quick note saying that I was leaving to go home and left it on the table next to Peggy's purse.

"Bye guys"

still no notice.

as I was walking home I began to get lost in my thoughts. I was thinking about a lot of things but mostly Peggy she didn't talk much, ever since Steve passed shes gotten quieter, I hope she's ok. I never got a chance to meet him I heard lots from Peggy. Every time I was with her she would tell me how stupid he was going into battle with a smile and how he used to be so scrawny, but after the serum, he became completely different looking. peggy truly thought that she was good at hiding her feelings from me but I'm her best friend, of course, I knew how she felt. Peggy loved Steve and from what I've heard Steve loved Peggy as well. i began to think about the organisation and how Peggy asked me to help her it made me so happy I still remember the day she asked me, and the happiness I felt. being one of the very few female scientists and a quite popular one at that so of course it's going to be hard but there was one man that would take me seriously and I made a friend that, of course, was the one and only Howard stark who I later found out Peggy knew and had forced him to be my friend but as time went on Howard and I became close and we became the trio. I was just about to cross the road when someone grabbed me from behind I turned around and hit him with my purse he let go and I was about to run when another man appeared i was startlede and took a step back right in to the other mans arms he put a cloth over my mouth.

cholorform i instantly knew it was choloroform but it was highly consentrated meaning i have mere seconds to get free or ill get knocked out but where did these men get this highly concentrated choloroform?

as i struggled to get out of the mans grip i started to see black dots in my vision then i began to feel limp. it was too late, i closed my eyes and i was out.
