Police cars were everywhere outside Gretta's house.

And so where a lot of people wanting to witness the crime scene that occurred.

I happened to be one of them.

Earlier today, I was awoken by Calum calling through my phone.

"The party's cancelled tonight. G-gretta... She... She's dead."

It felt like a boulder just smashed over my heart literally. I remembered the picture sent to me last night. I remembered the black butterfly I saw on her shoulder at school.

It happened again. The same thing that happened with my mom. The black butterfly appearing, followed by deaths.

Is it just a coincidence? Or something's up?

He invited me to come with him and I instantly accepted without knowing where exactly we will be going. I never thought we'd be going to Gretta's house.

Malfoy thought he's just taking me out for a stroll. That's what he told him anyways.

Maybe he haven't heard of the murder yet. Or maybe he has, but felt guilty not allowing me to go to the party which was now cancelled.

So here we were, standing outside Gretta's house, right behind the yellow Police line. We saw a two guys in uniform dragging a rolling bed with a body on top of it covered with a white sheet.

It was Gretta for sure. Her dead body.

Camera lights were flickering throughout the area. They were coming from the town folks, from reporters, from the cops investgating the crime scene.

"She was a good woman," Calum muttered almost to himself but I could still hear it.

I bit my lower lip and bobbed my head down. The two of us got on to a wrong start. That impression lasted for the following days. Even though I know that she doesn't like me-- I don't know why, I still feel sorry.

It's like a feeling of remorse yet I didn't even do anything.

That's right. You didn't do anything. You couldn't.

A voice spoke inside my head. I gasped upon hearing it. The voice echoing through my mind and it wasn't my voice. It was someone else.

"Hey," Calum grasped for my arm. I felt dizzy and near to fainting but good thing Calum caught me before I could collapse.

"Are you alright? What's wrong?" He asked, clutching my shoulders between his arms.

I nodded as I rubbed my fingers on the side of my forehead.

The voice was laughinh inside my head.

Hahahha~

It went on and on and on.

On cue, my eyes glimpsed to Gretta's front porch. My eyes grew wide and my jaw dropped.

A thousand horses began to gallop around my chest cavity. I gasped, panting to catch my breathe.

I saw Gretta standing on her front porch steps. She was covered in blood, her arms and neck filled with slashes. Her head tilted sideways, her mouth wide opened, her eyes dead.

She was looking at our direction. She was definitely looking at us.

Because of impulse, I couldn't stop my feet from moving on its own. I broke away from Calum's arms and ran away. I heard him call my name but I didn't stop. I continued to run with a fast-thumping heart.

I looked behind and I still saw Gretta. I continued running, not minding the people I'm hitting.

The voice was still laughing and it's making my head hurt but I have to get away from here.
