Seasons have passed, and i can still recall
The moment my heart was glued on to you
Like deer in the headlights, then began the downfall
of something entirely new
I remember your smile, that sent butterflies swarming
You held the sun and sky in each of your eyes
They had me falling, with this sense of adoring
While i held my senses edgewise
You claimed you grew fond of me
Yet as the time progressed, the words lingered
Embedded with turmoil, i did not forsee
The odds of romance being injured
Seasons have passed, time is healing
The cracks and crevices of these wounds
Giving space, of such wonderful feeling
Of something entirely new
