your pov
i sit on the coach, on my phone, hearing the door open
i turn around and see my beautiful husband, ethan, walking into our house
i was so happy to see him because i didn't get to see him all time. today, i had off from home, but sadly, he still had to go to work
i get up from the coach and walk up to him
"hey, baby," i say hugging him
ethan slightly pushed me off of him
i walk back by him and ask, "what did i do wrong, babe?"
"nothing," he snapped
"ethan, it's obviously something. you wouldn't be giving me this attitude you are now if i didn't do anything," i said calmly
"you wanna know what you did wrong? well, i'll tell you. while i worked my ass off today, you sat here doing nothing. i make the money in this house. i am the person that's always working hard. while you just sit on your ass all the time," he yelled at me running upstairs into our room. once he made it to our room, he slammed the door shut
i, was of course taken back by what he had said. did he really mean it? but i didn't take it to heart
i didn't want to get all hurt by what he had said to me because i know i do stuff. i provide money just like him. and while he was at work, little did he know, i cleaned the whole entire house
i ran upstairs, and i heard sobs coming from our room
i opened the door to see ethan crying. i went up to him, and this time, he let me hug him
he cried on my shoulder while i rubbed his back trying to calm him down
once he was calmed down, he started talking, "i'm sorry, baby. i didn't mean what i said down there. work has just been really stressful for me and i don't know what to do anymore. my boss keeps yelling at me for everything i do. it's just so stressful there." i let him rant
when he was done, i placed my lips on his soft lips
i pulled away from the kiss and said, "baby, i'm not mad. it's okay to be stressed. it's almost the weekend and we both have off. we will have a relaxing weekend just for you."
