life is so unfair at times. my parents are forcing me to go to college when that's not my dream. my dream is to become an author. yes, i could go to college. but i don't feel like it's that necessary right now. i want to focus on my boyfriend, ethan. but i can't. since i'm being forced to move across the country to some dumb college i don't even want to go to.
my parents are also forcing me to break up with ethan so i can have my full attention on school
again, life isn't fair. i am so in love with ethan it's insane. he's who i see myself with forever. i don't see myself doing some stupid job i don't enjoy
i knock on ethan's door, to sadly break up with him

i was sitting in the couch watching netflix when someone knocked on my door
i quickly paused my show and i opened the door to see my beautiful girlfriend, y/n
"BABY!" i screamed and picked her up
"can we talk," she said in a sad voice
"of course, what's wrong y/n," i let her in and led her to my couch
"there's no easy way to say this," and then she stopped
"what, are you breaking up with me," i joked around to try lighten the mood
"yes, ethan, i'm sorry. you know my parents are forcing me to go to college. they're also forcing me to break up with you. i'm sorry," we both started crying

after i told ethan the news, i had to leave his house
<2 days later>
i leave tomorrow to go to college. which sucks. i'm so lost without ethan. it hurts me so much. i haven't ate since the breakup. i'm going insane. i don't know how i'm going to go to college without him in my life
i started to cry remembering the breakup that took place two days ago when my phone started to ring
i answered it because it was grayson
"hey," i said softly
"y/n, please don't leave. ethan is miserable. he won't eat. he won't shower. he won't come out of his room. please y/n he needs you," grayson said concerned for his brother
"grayson i can't," i instantly responded
"please," is all he said and then hung up
graysons words rung in my head all night
<next morning>
"hey sweetheart," my mom greeted me, "are you excited to go to college."
"i'm not going," i was straightforward with her
"yes you are. or else you're being kicked out of this house," she demanded
"fine, i'll move in with ethan. my stuff is already packed anyway" i left my house and drove straight over to ethan's house
i knocked and a sad ethan answered the door, "what are you doing here," he said as his head hung low
"i'm not going to college. you're more important than anything in my life."
"y/n, you can't do that," he grabbed my hands, "what about your parents?"
"they kicked me out. i said i would live with you. which is really stupid because you probably don't want to live with me. i'm just going to get a hotel. but i knew i couldn't live without you ethan. so i couldn't g-," he cut me off and placed his lips on mine
"of course you can live with me," he gave me a cheeky smile
