Chapter 5.

I called him and there was no answer.. I started to be really worried. I started getting ready for school since it was Tuesday. I went down stairs first to have something for breakfast, I watched my phone as I made toast to make sure I don't miss any calls from him. As I finished my toast I put my plate in the sink. Still nothing. I grabbed my phone and went in my room and just put sweatpants on for school and a green day t-shirt. I went in the bathroom and was washing my face. After that I grabbed my tooth brush about to brush my teeth. I grabbed my tooth brush about to put tooth paste on then I got a call. It was an 'unknown' caller. I picked it up.

"Hello???"

"Hello, is this Rylie? Calum Hood's girlfriend?"

"Oh my god yes, yes it is, is he okay"

"I'm afraid not. We need you to come to Mercy hospital as soon as you can."

"Oh my god okay, what room is he in what entrance, are you sure he's not okay"

"Yes I'm sure, come to through the emergency entrance, just tell the lady at the desk at you are Calum Hoods girlfriend"

"Okay bye thank you for tell me, thank you so much. Bye."

"Your welcome, bye."

We hung up the phone. I grabbed my phone and grabbed socks, plus them on quick and put my vans on. I grabbed my keys, my wallet, and my phone. I locked the door then shut it and ran to my car. I dropped the keys as I was putting them in the ignition. I hurried up and backed out the drive way. I tired to hurry but at the same time not go over the speed limit. I was worried so much, I didn't care about school today. There was so many red lights and it made it worst.

Once I arrived at the hospital, I parked in the emergency parking for patients because of Calum. I ran in the emergency entrance heading to the front desk. "I'm Calum Hood's girlfriend. Uh the lady told me to tell you"

"Yeah she told me, room 216, take a right, go to the elevator and go to the 2nd floor and make a left. I'll tell the doctor you are heading up there"

"Okay thank you"

I hurried up and got to the elevator and once I was in there I texted Paige.

"Hey can you tell the teacher I won't make it today, I'm at the hospital"

Paige texted me back. "Yeah what happened"

"Calum, long story I'll talk to you later"

"Alright well I home he is okay, bye"

"Bye"

I got to the second floor, running and looking for room 216. I was finally there I walked in and Calum was asleep. He had scratches all over him. I went over to him as I was crying. I grabbed his hand and kissed the top, sitting beside him. The doctor came in and I stood up.

"What's wrong with him, what happened?"

"He got in a bad accident, your his girlfriend right?"

"Yeah but what-what happened I don't understand was it a different car or was it his fault and my name is Rylie."

"A drunk driver hit him and the car rolled over, he's fine now, his heart rate was slowing down earlier but we left it go and now it's back to normal, he might have a broken leg or arm, I'll come in later and check on him."

The doctor walked out the room as I stood there...

I walked back over to Cal and say beside him on the bed and held his hands and was facing him. His hands were ice cold, usually mine are but wow his hands were so, so cold.

"Why did this have to happen to you.. Why couldn't this have happened to me.. Id rather have it happen to me then have it happen to you.." I said to Calum as he was still sleeping. I looked out the hallway. Once I looked back I seen Cal's eyes start to open.

"Babe?"

"Yeah I'm here Calum, it's okay, everything is gonna be alright"

"What ha-happened?"

"You got in a car accident and I didn't know it until this morning, as I was getting ready for school"

"Ohh, don't worry about me Rylie, I love you"

"I love you too Cal, so so so much don't ever forget it"

"I won't"

Calum ended up making me smile, no matter what he does I always have a smile on my face when I'm with him, I just love him so much. The doctor came in and I got up so the doctor can see if everything is alright with Calum and can see if he's feeling alright.

"You doin alright Calum?"

"Yeah, I'm fine now"

"Okay good. Do you know what happened or where you are at?"

"Yeah, I got in a car accident and I'm in the hospital"

"Yeah, you got hit by a drunk driver"

"I did?"

"Yeah, you should be alright now, and if everything is good, you can go home tonight, I'm gonna check everything now, alright?"

"Okay"

As the doctor was checking everything Calum kept looking at me and smiling so I looked back at him and smiled back. Once in a while I would watch tv on the small tv in the room.

I'm so glad he's okay, I don't think I could have made it through life if he wouldn't have made it.

"Everything looks great, he's doing good, but he has to have a cast on his leg for 6 weeks, I'm gonna get the stuff and we will put it on, then he can leave"

"Okay doc. sounds good"

The doctor left to get the stuff so I went to sit by Calum. I held his hand and we both watched tv. I check the time and it was already 1pm. Wow time went by fast.

After about 20 minutes the doctor came in with a couple of nurses, to put on the cast. That took about 15 minutes. They have him crutches and unhooked everything. They have him pills he had to take that way nothing would go wrong, and gave him pain medicine. "Okay Calum, you are all good to go, here are his stuff and he can change real quick, and once he's done you guys can leave, have a great day"

"Okay thank you, have a great day yourself too"

The doctor left the room and I closed the curtain to help Calum change into sweat pants and his t-shirt.

Once he was done changing I grabbed his stuff and handed him his crutches and helped him walk. We got outside and I helped in get in the car, I got in the driver seat and put my book bag and Calum's stuff in the back, before I started the car I got out my phone and texted Paige and Mikey that he was fine. I started the car and went to my house.

"Calum I'm so glad your okay, I love you"

"I love you too, but how am I going to be at my house by my self?"

"You can stay with me for a while, I'll wash your clothes, take care of you, and get your stuff, we can go to your house once in a while to make sure everything is alright"

"Okay, thank you babe"

"Your welcome Calum"

Once we got to my house I helped him in the house and came back outside to get our stuff. I set out stuff in my room and went down stairs with Cal.

"Are you hungry babe? I am"

"Yeah a little, I want chicken noodle soup though."

"Okay" I kissed Calum then went into the kitchen to make some soup for the both of us...

Sorry this isn't good but I hope you like it and I don't know if this chapter is long because I'm typing it on my phone but hi everyone !
