Chapter 9-Can I have this dance

It was nighttime and we had finally finished setting up, we had the campfire going, the cans of food open, water bottles out and Loki had even cut open some coconuts with the knife he just happened to be carrying, I wasn't sure to be worried or not about that but it was only expected of him. I was singing loudly to don't stop me now and just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I heard the opening lines of bohemian rhapsody.
"Is this that song you've been going on about?," Loki asked.
"Yes it is, listen, it's such a good song," I said as I sat next to Loki.
I stopped talking for a bit so that he could hear the song, "you're right, it is good, maybe I'll give more midguardian music a try."
"You know, you could just call it Earth music or human music."
"Why would I?"
"Because they way you say midguardian sounds a little, uh, condescending."
"Hmm, I'll take that into mind."

We had spent a good 5 minutes talking about music on earth compared to music on asguard when the song 'love of my life came on.'
I sighed, "such a sad song, and by the same band too."
"This band does seem quite talented."
I look around and see that my two other friends were on the dance floor, Arabella with Peter and Gracie with Sebastian or Bucky, it was so dark that I couldn't tell.
I started thinking about how I should've asked Loki to dance, regretting not doing it. I dwelled on it until I decided to step up and do it. I stood up and held out my hand, to my surprise, he grabbed it and I pulled him up, "may I have this dance?"
"Of course," still holding onto his hand I lead him to the dance floor, it was then that I remembered how clumsy I was, "sorry I can't dance well, I went to McDonald's instead of prom."
"What's McDonald's?"
"Ha, don't worry about it."
He pulled me closer to him and whispered to me, "this might sound rude but do people in your dimension normally have multiple partners," then nodded over at Gracie who was dancing with...Sebastian?
"No it's not normal, I thought she had something with Bucky."
We looked over in shock as the two started kissing, what was going on? I couldn't hear the conversation but I saw Gracie look up at Sebastian and start stuttering something, Bucky watched the two in the distance, tears filling his eyes. Apparently Arabella had noticed too because she and Peter came and stood next to us. The next thing we knew, Gracie was running into the jungle, leaving two broken hearts behind.
"What happened," asked Peter.
"I think she kissed the wrong one," said Arabella. Thinking the jungle was dangerous I started running after her until I felt a strong grip on my arm, I looked up to see Chris Evans, "she'll be fine, she just needs some time alone."
