There I lay on the boat, not bothering to move, even if I wanted to I doubt I had the energy.
I heard yelling from above me, "THE MAP! YOU DROPPED THE MAP!"
I lazily stretched my arm out and caught it just before it had a chance to hit the water, "it's ok I got it." I held the piece of paper to my face and to my surprise it was the map, the reason we came here in the first place, maybe things weren't so pointless after all. The map was made like a map you would see in a kids book about pirates, black ink with a red x in the middle. After a few more minutes of waiting I watched my friends lower themselves down the rope and into the boat, Chris was holding Elliot and Sebastian was holding peter, the two were still unconscious but they were bound to wake up in the next half hour or so. I handed Bucky the map without a word spoken between us, I was afraid that I might say something stupid out of anger that would make everyone hate me more than they already did so I remained quiet.

After about twenty minutes of awkward silence Tom finally spoke up, "so that map is supposed to lead us to cap, right."
"Well hopefully, if it doesn't...I don't know what we'll do," Bucky replied solemnly.
"Jas, you good there?" Gracie asked.
I looked at her, "I just, with everything that's happened, Loki, Selene, I, I don't know..."
"I heard that when someone's dimensional counterpart dies, they lose a bit of their soul," Bucky explained.
"Great, now some of my soul is missing too. Is there anything else you know about this?"
"It often causes the surviving one great grief and anger."
"That would explain it then." Could anything else go wrong for me? My plane crashed, I was betrayed by Loki, I basically watched myself die, one of my best friends hates me, my arm still hurt like hell not to mention my other smaller injuries and now I find out that some of my souls is gone and the worst part was that I couldn't do anything about it. At least we would find Steve then this would all be over, I could go home and live my normal life, or so I hoped. Peter and Elliot both bolted upright at the same time, they looked at each other and then looked back at us.
Peter smoothed down the hairs that stood up on his arms, "Something isn't right."
