This is the right time to assault this man. The person he was targeting was a man who is in his early 20's, alone on the bus stop. He had his cellphone in hand, as his other held a suitcase. Maybe it was filled with documents, or money. Who knows? He's going to get it.

He pulled the mask they (y'know) gave him over his eyes, covering his face and identity. He peered from the corner, grinning widely as he unsheathed his weapon. A sharp dagger, and etched into it were words he couldn't decipher. They could be from another language or just random gibberish.

Looking at the time, it was 1:39 am in the morning. The only sound they both heard was the soft pitter-patter of rain as the man found shelter underneath the bus stop. He waited patiently for his vehicle to arrive and take him to his destination.

Aiden jumped out of his hiding place and dashed towards him, shouting. The man turned to see him as he fell backwards, screaming with fear. This was the fun part. Witnessing his victims attempting to attract attention and escape. It was no use because he was agile and quick on his feet.

Slashing his dagger across his arm, the man winced as he pulled out his phone, calling the police station. He backed away from him as his finger hovered the call button, paralyzed.

"Go on, press the button." He sneered, as the dagger glinted in the streetlight. "I'll be done with you once they arrive." The victim gulped as sweat beaded down his forehead.

"HEY, OVER HERE!" A female voice cried out, making both of them snap their heads in that direction. A girl of Aiden's age emerged, blood dripping down her forehead. Her breathing pattern was shaky, as if she was trying to run from someone.

The man called her, asking for help as he closed in on him, lifting the dagger to his neck. The girl appeared by them and pushed him off of the poor person. He hissed, staring at her as his pupils shrunk with anger.

'That's my victim!' He roared internally as was came next surprised him. The girl's arm was engulfed in some sort of solid-liquid and stabbed the man through his chest, killing him instantly.

Aiden was terrified. Even if he was a killer, a person like that who could murder a man or woman in a blink of an eye is scarier than his own doings. He gasped as the woman faced him, ridden of expression. She smiled and was about to speak but he didn't want to talk to her.

He bolted from her, running into the woods as she blinked with surprise. She was doing him a favor by ending the man's life quickly. She left the man's corpse alone on the bus station, receiving his suitcase and wallet. Her footsteps were light and didn't leave a mark in the mud as she chased after Aiden, her ponytail flowing behind her back.

He was catching his breath as he listened intently to hear no footsteps. Maybe the girl was gone. Maybe she wasn't.

Someone kicked him in the stomach, sending him stumbling onto the ground. He groaned, and cracked both eyes open, seeing two dirty feet. The two dirty feet of the girl who killed his target. She spoke, her voice booming with firmness and command.

"Get up."

She demanded as Aiden looked up at the girl with shock because of her sudden presence. How did she find him so fast?! He ran from her as soon as he saw her. But now she's here, standing in front of him, arms crossed over her chest.

"Follow me and stop fighting. You're making this more difficult." She held out a hand for him to grab but he refused. Who was she to tell him what to do? He shakily stood up, gripping his dagger. He lunged at her, yelling with fury mixed with brief fear.

Anticipating this, she side-stepped him as he hit the trunk of a tree. Dazed, he shook his head and gritted his teeth. 'What a bitch..' He thought, getting back up. He felt lightheaded but that didn't stop him from trying to knock her out.

He tried to punch her, but Aiden hit her weakly in the stomach, physically drained. He was too dizzy to fight. What more can it do but make him look pathetic? It was a shame that he was easily fooled by this girl. She mumbled under her breath words of a curse in a tongue that no one can translate unless she told them the meaning.

Subject 247 faintly smiled, the corners of her eyes crinkling. "Nice try, but you failed." She whispered as wind blew in his direction, blowing hair away from his face. His broken mask lay forgotten a few feet away from him to his right. She smirked, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I was trying to save you. He was about to call the police, so I killed him." She explained as a black tentacle popped out of her left arm, hissing and spitting goo at Aiden. She laughed softly and patted the little blob and hushed it, making it not attack him.

He flinched, but didn't do anything about it. How did she obtain a sentient..'creature' as a companion? He did have questions, but most of them were childish, as he is still sixteen. He regained his composure and began to speak.

"I'm Aiden...thanks for saving me-even if I tried to kill you.." He introduced himself, his tone a little too calm for her comfort. He wasn't trying to hide it that he still disliked her for killing his target. He was supposed to call the police so that there were more victims, but she spoiled the fun. His green eyes looked away from her when he finished, not knowing what her reaction might be.

"No problem. The name's Subject 247, or Kendra. I don't really know my real name, but they gave me that nickname." She averted her gaze from his unblinking eyes and stared at his mask, seeing it was broken and split into pieces.

"Do you need me to gain your trust? I saved you from jail tim-"

"No. You did not help me. You just ended the fun for me because you thought it was the 'right thing' to do." He made air quotes then placed his hands on his hips and tapped his foot in annoyance. She raised an eyebrow with amusement. How angry is he over a silly human? Jesus, this guy is going to be hard to get by..

She stepped forward and pinned him against a tree, trapping him. He snarled and pushed her away but she stood her ground and stayed, a grin plastered on her face. "Are you sure you want to push me away? I could help you with killing people."

He frowned and didn't respond. Now this bitch is being too pushy. But he needed her on her good side or else she'd murder him and leave no trace of his corpse.

"Fine. But on one condition."

"Let's hear it then."
