"Huh?" Aiden heard a clinking noise in the alley, uncertain but determined, he went to find out what it was.

Instead of finding a bum or a stray cat, he saw two orbs big as saucers. He hesitated, staring into the unblinking eyes whom belonged to nobody.

The eyes left him mesmerized, even if it was bright in the morning. It nodded its imaginary head towards him, making him step into the alleyway, under its hypnotic spell.

The person turned around and walked into the darkness, as Aiden followed after them, not knowing it was a trap.

After a few minutes of being consumed into the gloomy path, he felt something was wrong.

 Something was...watching him.
He glanced around, the spell broken. The mysterious woman or man was there, arms wide. With a tilt of its head, he was trapped again. He moved forward ever so slowly, not knowing this wasn't what he think it was.

There was a flick of a match, then the pathway was lit with flames, startling him for a moment. "Holy shit!" He yelled, covering his eyes, as a shadow came from behind him, smiling. He didn't notice as the smoke stung his eyes as he coughed wildly, the smoke burning his throat.

The shadow clasped a hand over his mouth as he screamed but he was too deep into the path, so no one heard his pleas of help. "Shush, my friend.." His vision was spinning, like he was about to hit the floor. "For you'll soon become like one of us."

Oh dear God, please. Please don't. Don't..hurt....me.. Then darkness took over his vision.
Hours later, Aiden heard a faint voice calling out to him, luring him out of dreamland. He jolted with a start, then heard them again, this time their words were even clearer. "Wake up, my boy.." A voice broke through his short daydream, a dream of him getting out of the alley safe and sound, with no harm.

But the dream was only a dream.

He was sitting in a chair, arms and legs tied up, unable to move. His captor stands over him, their face clothed by a hood so he couldn't find out their identity. Aiden thrashed around, trying to bite at the ropes, yet the attempt was futile. His kidnapper chuckled at his attempts, watching them like he was an animal running from a hunter, trying to escape death with was only imminent.

"W-who the fuck are you?!" He asked, even it was a stupid question. Of course his kidnapper won't reveal their identity, but it was a way to distract them. The person smirked.

"How stupidly cute." They lifted up Aiden's chin, making him stare into those unblinking eyes.

 It was them.

"Figured out who I am, hm?" They smiled, showing their yellow-ish white teeth. He shivered, but the air was warm. It felt like a furnace in there. Beads of sweat rolled down his face as this person grinned, inspecting every inch of him like he was a test subject. He walked away into the darkness and then returned, holding something which vaguely looked like a rose on a mask.

"I'll put this on you.." They whispered, patting his head. "Don't you fret, my boy..it'll soon be all over.." Screaming, his shouts were muffled by the mask which was placed on his face without consent. Then Aiden felt dizzy again..

"No.." He mumbled, tears streaking his cheeks. He wasn't going to be a toy to this mystery. He'll come out victorious over the person. He tried to fight the drowsiness with was creeping into his body, yet it made him even weaker with every attempt.  He wanted to know what the hell was going on.. but that wasn't the case.

 He blacked out.

Even if he was unconscious, Aiden smirked at his captor, the rose's thorns wrapping themselves around his head, digging into his hair and flesh.

His captor stood tall, unsheathing a blade from under their coat. "Time to suffer, my boy." And stepped closer into the light. That was their mistake. Aiden, or the thing that was controlling him, kicked them under their feet, breaking the ropes and knocking out the air in their lungs. They gasped with pain, tumbling down to the ground.

"You insolent-!" They never got to finish their sentence as he broke free, gripping the blade and raising it over his head, flashing him a wide smile. They were frozen with shock, their body refusing to move even if it was a life or death situation. They knew what was happening. THEY were the animal that's being hunted. And his hostage was the hunter. This was it. Aiden's captor smiled him one more toothy smile, knowing they'll die by his hands.

"Say good night." And the knife went down, hitting their skull and killing them. That was it. That the end of them. Aiden sat there, shocked with a mixture of relief and anger. "I..I killed them.." He raised his hands to his face, tired from the adrenaline.

He didn't know what to do..but killing them felt nice. It felt too nice. It was exhilarating to him. He wanted more. He needed more. He loved to have more. Grabbing the weapon again, he poked his way out of the hiding place, soaked in blood.

The cool night wind whistled as there was no honking of horns nor the chatter of men. It was midnight..he guessed, staring into the moon. There's no going back now.

But he never regretted his decision.

 He loved it.
