Chapter One : Expressions

(One last thing,  the story most likely will change perspective.   But I will say at the very top "Draco pov" or something like that. But it will not stay consistent. That's all! Byeeee!)

Harry POV

     I was sitting with Ron and 'Mione per usual on the ride to Hogwarts.  Something seemed off about today though....

     "Harry.  HARRY!"  Hermione yelled.

     "Wha?  Huh? Did you say somethin' 'Mione?" I responded.

     "She's been calling your name for five bloody minutes man.  Get yourself together.  We're gonna be there soon," Ron chimed in.  

     As we started to get off,  I thought I saw the strangest thing.  It looked like Malfoy,  but he was staring at something.  Then I realized, it was me!  Why would Malfoy stare at me like that?! He looked like he was just kissed by a girl or something. 

     I stared back,  but with much more ferocity than he did.   He looked away almost immediately.   Somedays I wonder if everyone in this bloody school has gone mental.   I decide to tell 'Mione about what had happened.

     "He did what?!" She asked dumbfounded.  "You mean that the Malfoy,  the rudest student in school,  was looking at you the way Ron looks at food?"

     "Hey!" Ron chirped angrily.

     "Ron don't deny it.   We all know your a greedy pig," 'Mione stated.

     "Doesn't mean you can say it aloud!" He retorted.

     "Look, let's just calm down and continue with the Malfoy situation,"  I continued.  If 'Mione and Ron got in a fight, then we would have more issues than a dragon scared of scales.

     As we chattered in the common room,  Hedwig had perched on the outside window sill.  I had her run me an errand earlier today.   I was quite surprised she was back so soon.  Especially with exactly the news I wanted to hear.

     "What ya got there Harry?"  Ron asked curiously. 
     "Oh.  U-um, this? It's nothing.  Just, uh,  family stuff! Yeah.  That's all.  Nothing important!" I tried to make it sound as inconspicuous as possible.
