"Lili" she softly responded

My heart beat was so fast like I'm riding a roller coaster

Inalis ko ka-agad ang kanyang ulo na nakahiga sa legs ko

"aray" mahina niyang sagot habang hawak hawak ang kanyang ulo

"Oh, sorry" sabi ko naman at dali-dali siyang inalalayan, and once again our eyes meet.

Tinulang kalabaw ito.

"I have some medicine here, you have to take it mataas ang lagnat mo" sabi ko sabay abot sa kanya ng gamot

Kinuha naman niya ito.

"Here" abot ko naman sa tumbler ko

"S-salamat" she said and took the pill

When she was finish already tumayo agad ako to reach my hand to her

"Tumayo ka at sa higaan ka matulog, malamig dito sa couch hindi ka gagaling niyan" sabi ko as I pulled her weight that we almost stumble upon her gawkiness

"S-sorry" she said

Nang makahiga na ito ako naman ang umupo sa couch,the rain are still pouring outside and it is 7:30 am already

I looked at her closing her eyes while the blankets are covering her whole body

"Jennie" I uttered

She opened her eyes and turned her face to me

"How did we get here?" I asked

She give me a blank stare for a few seconds before she answered

"You were drunk last night, and the rain and thunder was too strong that made a big tree beside the road collapse, and ito ang unang lugar na naisip ko" she said and closed her eyes once again

"I was supposed to destroy this place for a long time since then, pero na-alala ko, I was not the one who built this, we were just the one who put some memories in here" Sabi ko at ngumiti ng mapakla

"S-sorry" she said

"S-save it, I'm not yet ready to hear your plea" I said and stood up

Lumabas ako kahit lumakas nanaman ang ulan at sumilong sa loob ng kotse ko

I let out a big sigh

To tell her the truth,
I want to know her story
I want to hear her explanation , but
Something is telling me not to
And those are the past memories,
Memories of me begging
Memories of me trying to understand the situation
Memories of me crying because of too much pain
and memories of my love and trust that was given to her.

Siguro sarado parin ang puso't isipan ko sa pagkakataong magiging okay ang lahat.
Hindi pa ako handa, but I hope na kaya ko pa at kaya pa ng puso niya to wait for the day that I could truly open my heart and mind for her.

*kring* kring* kring*

I unintentionally fallen asleep as I was sitting inside my car when I recieved a call

My phone was thrown inside the backseat, maybe because of my drunkness yesterday

"Thank God someone answered, Saan kanaba Lalisa? The camp maintenance already did their job getting rid of the tree para makapasuk na kayo, the meeting will begin in an hour, you and Jennie are needed here asap" Jisoo on the other line straightly said

"We are on our way" I replied and went out from my car

Humupa narin ang ulan kaya't dali-dali akong umakyat sa tree house and Jennie is still sleeping
