Bella POV

I sighed. I kept staring at pictures of me and Paul on the walls. Most of the walls included him and the boys. I loved every single one. He's been busy with the movies and I really miss him so much. The boys and Meadow do too. We always kept in touch thanks to phone calls. I laid back onto the headboard of the bed. I really want him to be closer to me. My brain clicked. I immediately pulled out my songbook and pen. I looked at the pictures on the walls. I smiled. "Too many memories and phone calls." I sang quietly and written down. "Too many pictures of you on the walls." I sung and written down. That's when I started to record my song Closer To Me. I was in my studio room in the house. I had my headphones on with the mic in front. I sighed, just thinking about him again. I turned on the song and began singing.

Too many memories and phone calls

Too many pictures of you on the walls

And not enough of you in my arms

Whoa

I count the seconds with my heart beat

I close my eyes and see you here with me

I feel the miles standing in between

I'm still alone

And days go by

Are we getting closer to a better life

I can't say I love you through a million walls so

Tell me when will you be

Closer to me, closer to me

Do you miss me like I miss you

Or see my face in everything you do

I dream about you in the light of day

I'm not ok

And days go by

Are we getting closer to a better life

I can't say I love you through a million walls so

Tell me when will you be

Closer to me

All I know is that I want you here

And when you're gone I disappear

All I know is every time you leave

You take the biggest part of me, with you

Days go by

Are we getting closer to a better life

I can't say I love you through a million walls so

Tell me when will you be

Closer

Days go by

Are we getting closer to a better life

I can't say I love you through a million walls so

Tell me when will you be

Closer to me, closer to me

Closer to me, closer to me

I took off the headphones and sighed. I miss you Paul. That's all I feel right now. I went downstairs to the living room. I sat on the couch and began to watch TV. Jason and Justin was asleep in their room. So...uh oh. "Mommy! Mommy!" I heard them. They came downstairs and saw me. I smiled. "Hey babes." I said. They smiled. "We heard you singing!" Jason said. I pretended to be shocked. "You did? Do you love when mommy sings?" I asked. "Yeah!" They said. I laughed. They began to climb on me and sat on my lap. "What was the song about?" Justin asked. I smiled. "Its about daddy." I said.
Jason pouted. "I want daddy." He whined. I rubbed his hair. "I know baby. He'll be back." I assured. He nodded and laid his head on my shoulder. Justin did the same. My phone ringed. "Ring ring!" Justin said. I giggled and so did Jason. I turned on the TV and Nick Jr was on. They immediately got off my lap and began watching it. I grabbed my phone and answered it. "Hello?" I said. "Bella! I missed you!" That familiar voice said. Paul. I fake smiled. "Hey, Mr. travel across the world and doesn't spend time with his sons." I said sarcastically. He sighed sadly. "Ok, I know you're mad and I'm super sorry. I will come home. I'm just really busy- I cut him off. "I been busy too Paul! The past weeks I been promoting my 3rd album and finally I have a break so I can spend time with my sons. You should too. I don't want them to grow up with their father being here and gone the next day." I growled. He groaned. "I'm sorry but I need to work so I can take care of you, them and Rebecca and Meadow. Its overwhelming me too." He said. I sighed. "You don't have to do that. I gave Rebecca money so she can go to Hawaii." I told him. "You did? Really? You're the best!" He beamed. I chuckled. "I know. Please I miss you. They miss you. I want you home." I said. "I'll be home I promise. I love you." He said. I smiled. "I love you too." I said and hung up. Justin and Jason were still watching Nick Jr...till they got hungry. I made chicken sandwiches with mayo; their favorite with cups of Sprite. They sat on two seats on the kitchen counter and started eating. I occupied myself with coffee and went on my phone. "Mommy! Mommy!" Justin said. I looked at him. "Yes baby?" I said. "My cup spilled!" He said. "Uh oh!" Jason said. My elbow felt the wetness on the counter and I quickly got out the spray and paper towel. I wiped the mess and cleaned it. I sprayed again and wiped it. I chuckled. "You guys gotta be careful." I said. They giggled as well. "My cup just went SPLAT!" Justin joked. I laughed and put the utensils away. "Mommy, I'm done with my sandwich." Jason said. I nodded and put his plate in the sink. "Are you done with your drink?" I asked. He nodded his head no. "I'm not done with mine's either." Justin said. His plate was empty so I put it in the sink. I went back to finishing my coffee. "Mommy, are we gonna see Meadow?" Justin asked. I didn't know how to respond to that. Rebecca's back in Hawaii with her so she can become a teacher. They'll see her because of Paul. I smiled. "Yes. You'll see your baby sis much. She's just living in Hawaii with her mom ok?" I said. They nodded in understanding. I know they'll make great big brothers to her. My phone buzzed. Now what? "Ring ring!" They said. I laughed and answered. It was Bryana. I sighed. "Hey Bri!" I said. "Hey cutie! How's the twins?" She said. "They're good. Paul's out doing a movie." I said. "Really? It seemed like half a year he been gone." She said. I nodded in agreement. "I know. I missed him and so do the boys but he still gotta work for them. It won't just be me supporting this family." I said. "You taking a break hon? You've been promoting your album." She said. I smiled sadly. "It'll be hard being on tour missing my little guys." I said. She chuckled. "You know mom and dad can take care of them while you're gone." She said. I nodded. "True or Cheryl can take care of them." I said. "I'm still doing wedding plans and Kopa's taking care of me with my pregnancy." She said. I smiled. "Love you sis. Take care." I said. "You too." She said. I hung up. Justin yawned and so did Jason. They rubbed their eyes. "I'm tired mommy." They said. I chuckled. "Ok nap time." I said. I picked up Jason and held Justin's hand. I went upstairs to their bedroom.

Later, I went back in me and Paul's room. The boys were asleep. I put my phone on my nightstand. Maybe I could get some sleep too. I flunked myself on the bed and drifted off to sleep.
