Walking down the corridor of the private ward, I couldn't hide the stupid grin that had been my face since a few minutes ago. My heart was overflowing with happiness and I was so so happy. I looked down at Winter by my side who was holding the ballons I had bought for her and was happily skipping instead of walking, glad she was going to see her dad and smiled, in a couple of months she was going to be a big sister. Yeap.....the pregnancy test I had taken had come out positive, confirming what I already knew. And I couldn't wait to tell Yale but for now I was going to keep it a secret and suprise him with it later.

I came to a stop in front of Yale's door which also made my baby stop too, I went down on my knees in front of her to get her attention and also take the balloons from her. She still didn't know all that had happened to her father and I had to brief her a little bit before we entered.

"Listen sweetheart, before we go in and see daddy I want you to know daddy has been sick and is not fully well so do not stress him out okay." I explained to her stroking her hair.

Hazel orbs looked to me eagerly nodding her head in understanding with her cheerful face still on. I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before standing up and opening the door to the room. She bolted through the door running, ignoring all that I had said just a second ago.

"Daddy......Daddy.....Daddy!!!" She squealed out as she made her way to Yale's bedside with her struggling to climb unto the bed.

Yale who was wide awake now scooped her up from the ground and into his arms wrapping her in a tight hug.

"My sweet angel....Daddy missed you so much." Yale uttered out peppering kisses all over her face which made her giggle before she did same to her father.

I shook my head from where I stood watching father and daughter both be childish but all the while admiring the site in front of me. Closing the door shut, I fully entered the room with the balloons in hand and tied them to the end of the bed for him. They both separated after a while with Winter already telling him about her activities and asking where he's been. Yale gladly listened and answered her questions with a huge smile gracing his face and I swear I could see tears in his eyes. I wasn't judging him or anything, he had every right to cry since he had come close to loosing her. Taking a seat on the chair in the room I observed them but not really paying attention to what they were saying until I heard "mummy" with both hazel eyes coming to look at me.

Yale had a broad smile on his face which mirrored Winter's own and I had no idea what both had been talking about.

"What are those looks for?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Nothing, just talking about how beautiful mommy looks." Yale compliment and I could fell my face grow hot which made me lower my head.

"Yes mommy. Daddy said you are the most prettiest person ever." Winter chipped in and I couldn't t help but laugh out loud.

These two really were something else and if the little one in my womb was going to be anything like them then I was doomed. My hand unconciously went to my stomach with that to touch it for a brief moment before removing it. I so badly wanted to tell Yale the good news but not yet and I had to be careful with my actions so as to not let him catch on if it was still going to be a suprise.

"Anyways when am I being released from this place?" Yale asked as he brought the bed up to a sitting position so he could carry Winter with ease.

I let out a chuckle at his bitter reference to the "place". He hated it here and I knew if he had his way he would have checked himself out the very day he had woken up. I stood up from where I sat and covered the short distance between us.
