Next week

"Christian I don't know what to pack for this trip" I whined as I sat in his lap. It's been a week since Chris invited me to go the Summer Bash in California. I was beyond nervous at this point. Yes I met them before and know them very closely but I never met them as his girlfriend. I know I shouldn't be nervous since I do know them but I feel like they will look at me different with being Christian's girlfriend. 

None of them know about Rose. Amaia didn't even know until I was more than half way done with my pregnancy. I would distant myself from her and her family because I was scared they would be disgusted with me with the Rose situation. Amaia found out
when she forced her way in my house well Alexa's house and saw my stomach. I begged her not to tell her family or anyone we knew because I was so scared.

She thought at first that I didn't like her family and that's why I didn't want them to know but that wasn't the case. I was just embarrassed that it even happened to me. I couldn't even hide it from Alexa because we lived together so there was no point of tying to do that.

"Baby" Chris said making me jump. I looked at him to see him looking at me with a worried expression. I must have spaced out. It looked like he was calling me for a long time.

"Sorry spaced out there" I said smiling at him. He chuckled and shook his head at me before returning to his phone. I noticed that he has been on his phone a lot and it pissed me off a lot. He would always say it's work which was fine but goddamn work seemed to need him every second of the day.

"So what you doing" I said trying to peek at his phone. He turned it away from me and moved it out my way. I frowned and looked at him with a pout of my face.

"I can't" I said in disbelief. What the hell is his problem?

"Baby this is work that can't be out in the world" He tried to explained

Out in the world? I'm out in the world.

"Out in the world? I'm not the world I'm your girlfriend" I said frowning at him. He sighed and put his phone in his pocket. I crossed my arms and stood up off the couch looking at him.

"I mean that sometimes I get work that causing me and my workers not allowed to share it with others outside the work force." He explained making me frowned even more.

Am I the only one who thinks that is bullshit?

Or maybe I'm just tripping.

I'm probably tripping.

I sighed and shook my head before shrugging. I didn't work nor know anything about big top business men so i wouldn't know if thats true or not. I nodded at him giving him a smile before going to the kitchen.

Plus Christian never lied to me before so I don't have to worry.

I trust him.

"I'm going to make a sandwich you want one?" I asked him from the kitchen.

"Baby I'm going make a quick stop at the building. I need to make sure everything is okay with the transfer from Atlanta to here." He said coming into the kitchen. I pouted and nodded sighing giving him a small smile. He came over and gave me a quick kiss before hurrying out the door. I sighed and bit my lip. Alexa was with Amaia and Rose having a auntie day out which I didn't even know was a thing but oh well.

I guess I'm alone today.

It's around three o'clock right now and Christian probably is going to come back in a hour or two so I should probably just the time I have alone. I got out popcorn and put it in the microwave. I walked to my room and changed into some sweatpants and a tank top. Taking the popcorn out of the microwave, I poured it in a bowl before throwing myself on the couch. I smiled to myself as I turned the tv on.
