I'm REALLY proud of this one, it made me cry a little and made me nostalgic. I just want Chris, Gordie, Vern and Teddy's characters to be real but they're not 😪

I couldn't believe that it's been already 5 years since me, Chris, Gordie, Teddy and Vern went on the search of Ray Brower's dead body. We could say that this adventure marked us. Now we were 17 years old and it was almost the end of the school year. Our lives were better than before. When we were 14, I kind of called the police to arrest Chris's father. At first, the cops didn't believe me so I asked my brother-in-law, who was also a cop to help me. He investigated and saw what Chris and Eyeball were going through and then Chris's father was arrested. He would've been in jail for the next 20 years ahead of him. Chris was relieved and for one year straight, he was always saying thank you and I would always respond with a tight hug.
Since he got arrested, it was in the newspapers and everybody could see that Chris was someone actually amazing and not a low-life Chambers like they thought ( those jerks🙄 ).Teddy's father wasn't really crazy anymore, I guess and Gordie's parents got over Denny's death and Vern, well he had an established family, but he went from cutiepie to a whole course meal haha.
I was happy that I got the boys and since this adventure, our friendship got stronger, a bond that nobody could break. I was sitting on the grass, my back facing the old tree behind me, finishing my homework. As I was finished, I saw my marvellous best friends coming towards me.
-''Hey y/n how you doing?'' Chris said, giving me a tight bear hug, also follow by Teddy, Vern and Gordie's hugs.
-''I'm fine, just finish my homework!'' I responded.
-''Good kid!'' Gordie said, patting my back.
-''Homework sucks!'' Teddy groaned, making me laugh lightly.
Anddddd there it's start. Now Gordie and Teddy were arguing while Chris was laughing his ass out. For a matter of fact, I find it quite funny those situations. Then, I turned to face Vern who haven't said a word yet.
-'' What you thinkin about Tessio?'' I asked.
-'' Well you know it's practically summer and there's 2 weeks left before we're out of here so why not go to the woods?''
Yeah why not? The boys all agreed and so me. It's adventures like that with them that I love. I didn't care if I didn't have girl friends, the boys were wayyy better even tho they sometimes can't help me with girl stuff, except maybe Chris, him knowing me the best. The bell rings and since we were in the same English class, we all went to class together.
