To Send You On Your Way

I used to think there was a 'good' in 'goodbye', but let me tell you, it's not as easy as saying 'Hi.'

.

.

.

.

When I saw you, I knew this day would come. Yet, fate must not know, our time together isn't done.

.

.

.

.

I may scream and cry, but you're just too far. And no difference could be made by taking a plane, train, or car.

.

.

.

.

Covered in delicate, porcelain skin. It is now your time to, again, begin.

.

.

.

.

Remember when you used to call me 'dear'? Remember when I said I needed you here?

.

.

.

.

'Remember when's are all they'll be. Now that you've left everyone, including me.

.

.

.

.

You lay still while we all shed tears. Quiet enough so that no one else hears.

.

.

.

.

In the future, may we again say 'Hi.'

But, for now, we must go our seperate ways and say, 'Goodbye.'
