this day was odd for taehyung, he didn't meet jungkook, lisa nor ryujin in the morning, which was good for him too.
well, ryujin stopped going to taehyung's locker since he told her off for the second time. yesterday, he saw her making out with soobin, which made taehyung really happy. she won't cling to him ever again.
"hi."
a familiar figure approached taehyung to say hi, but today she was wearing 3 bobby pins to remove her hair from her face.
"uhm hi jen. look i'm sorry—"
"no no stop," jennie said, cutting taehyung's sentence when he didn't even finish apologizing.
"it's my fault not telling you why," jennie said putting her head down.
"no, don't say that."
taehyung put his finger on her chin to raise her head up which made jennie's cheeks slightly pink. taehyung realised what he just did and put away his finger.
"sorry, i didn't mean—"
"i like that."
jennie smiled from ear to ear, kind of embarassed, so is taehyung.
"i think it's the time for us to know each other better," said taehyung, "can i have your number?"
"uh—uhm, a-are you asking m-my number?" jennie stuttered.
"yes." answered taehyung softly.
taehyung and jennie exchanged numbers.
"what should i name you?" asked jennie.
"uhm, how about 'taehyung cutie guy'?" answered taehyung, laughing.
"okay sure—"
"wait are you actually putting—"
"yes," answered jennie, showing off her gummy smile, "but you have to name mine 'jendeuk' hihi."
taehyung and jennie giggled as they kept making nicknames for each other.
"well, well look who got along with each other," another familiar figure approached the two while holding a boy's hand.
"shut up ryujin," said taehyung, coldly.
"oh wow you moved on from me that fast didn't you?"
"i have never liked you, ryujin."
"hey, stop answering my baby like that."
"your baby your ass, shut up soobin." said taehyung which made jennie kind of shocked.
"oh wow look at the kindest person in the school, saying a curse word, well he's not that kind anymore is he?" spoke ryujin while laughing.
"it's probably cause of her," soobin pointed at jennie which made jennie moved back.
"babe let's go," ryujin kissed soobin on the cheek and they left.
"sorry that made you uncomfortable," apologized taehyung to jennie.
"no, it's actually fine. thankyou for standing up for me, that has never been my talent," said jennie and chuckled.
"wow."
"what?"
"it feels like i've known you forever," said taehyung.
