third person's pov
"i like you kim jennie, will you be my girlfriend?"
jennie's stomach was filled with butterflies, her cheeks was blushing and they were red as ever. again, tears were forming from her eyes but this time they were happy tears.
"y-yes."
taehyung stood up and went to jennie, kissing her on her lips. jennie's collarbone and taehyung's back felt really warm, but they don't sting this time. then taehyung pulled jennie into a hug.
"i love you."
"i love you too."
taehyung went back to his seat and continued to finish his food.
suddenly, he closed his eyes when his mind brought him to little pieces of memories, seeing jennie in front of him, but not on the same day.
"i love you."
"i love you too."
"ARGH!" taehyung said in pain.
"taehyung, what's wrong?" jennie immediately stood up and went to him, hugging his head.
"i'm seeing you. . ."
"me?"
"yes."
taehyung told jennie that he remembered seeing her, but in a younger version and not in a restaurant, it's at just a small park.
"what was i wearing?" jennie asked him.
"just a white shirt with a denim skirt, high ponytailed hair," taehyung answered.
"do you think that actually happened?" jennie asked again.
"uhm, i don't know. . ."
"it did taehyung."
taehyung was surprised. jennie went back to her seat.
"you're joking," he said in disbelief.
"why would i? it's not april fools," jennie replied.
"but when? we didn't even meet before highschool."
"you mean before junior high?"
taehyung scratched his head, looking confused.
"i can't remember anything from junior high. i just realised everything when i became a senior. . ."
"don't you think something is off though?"
taehyung once again, scratched his head.
"well, everything's off right now—"
"even our relationship?"
"what? no! it's just all of the things that has been happening to me so sudden: clues, hints, dreams, tattoos. it's just weird!" taehyung said, frusturated.
"weird? taehyung, everything happens for a reason," jennie said with her soft voice, making taehyung to calm down.
"yeah but what if i don't know what the reason is?"
"taehyung, you'll understand—"
"understand? it's been weeks and i still have no idea what's going on, jen," he said, looking sad.
"it doesn't mean your stupid, you will slowly know taehyung," jennie said, "now let's hurry finish our food and go to the park near here."
taehyung and jennie finished their dinner and left the restaurant. they went to this park, jennie took out a pink picnic blanket and laid it down on the ground.
"oh wow, you brought this?" taehyung asked in awe.
"yup!" jennie answered.
there, they laid down on top of the blanket, watching the starts twinkling while listening to the crickets.
"taehyung."
"mhm?"
"i love you."
taehyung smiled.
"i love you too."
taehyung's pov
"i love you too."
*FLASH*
'i love you too, jennie.'
*FLASH*
"they're coming back again. . .," i said to jennie.
"what's coming back?" she asked.
"the little bits of memories."
jennie smiled.
"you're starting to remember taehyung."
