Benny P.O.V

I was at central station making sure everything was straight before I went on vacation. I gave Jones all the information on Syn's case and I told him to have someone follow Jr whiles I was gone. I'm gone deal with his bitch ass when I get back.

I haven't been on vacation in two years, I was too busy building my profile and trying to get up in my rank on the force but I was happy to be taking this time off to spend with Heaven.

I planned this vacation in three days, I got booked us a 4 night stay in beautiful ocean view suite at the S Hotel in Montego Bay and I booked our flights. I also have activities lined up for us to do.

I knocked on Inspector White's door

"Come" I heard her holler from the other side. I entered the room

"Hey just came to see if there is anything you need me to do before I leave".

"No, Jones should have everything covered. Where are you off to?"

"Taking my girl out of the country" I said leaving it for her to wonder where I was going

"Oh, I heard that you are dating someone now" she said and I nod "It's a shame that we didn't get together like we were supposed to"

"Yeah it's a real shame but since there's nothing that you need me to do I'm going to head out now"

"Wait! Before you go" she said standing up from her desk "I want you to know that you are doing a great job here and I really appreciate you"

"Thank you" I smiled

"Enjoy your vacation"

"Will do" I said walking out and closing the door behind me.

I left the building and headed to make a few runs and pick up a few things before we leave. I bought myself some new shoes from LYS and picked up a few shirts. I stopped and got a few toiletries and I also went John Bull to picked up something special I got for Heaven.

Next I headed to see my baby mother, today was her day off and I just wanted to make sure she good before I leave. I pulled up to the gated condominiums in Jansel Court, where she moved after she said something about Heaven showing up where she lived. Someone was coming out so I drove right in before the gate closed. I drove around and parked in the spot beside her car before I hopped out and took the stairs up to the third floor. I knocked on her door

"Hey" She said once she opened the door

"What's up?" I asked her as I stepped inside the two bedroom condo

"Nothing just binge watching Rupaul's Drag Race" She said sitting back on the couch where she had a bunch of junk food.

"Why you eating all this shit?" I said picking up the Reese's wrapper as I sat down

"I need to eat"

"You suppose to be eating healthy shit like salads and apples. Stuff like that" I told her "You taking your pills?"

"Yeah I am" she nodded picking up her tub of ice cream

"Give me this" I said taking the ice cream out her hand

"Why are you here bothering me?" She rolled her eyes

"I came to give you some money so you can get some 'healthy' stuff for my baby to eat until I get back"

"Where you going?" She asked

"On vacation" I told her

"Where and with who??"
