Letter For Him

 I lay on my bed and look up at the ceiling. 2 years of carrying this feeling that no one ever knows. I sighed deeply then I saw my pen and paper.

"aha!" I rise from my bed and get it. maybe it is time to express this feeling to him. It took so long before I wrote my letter to him.

Dear Max,

                  I never thought it will happen. I've never expected it. All I thought was just a wish. A wish that never comes true. I enjoyed every moment that we are together. When you asked me " can we spend time together?" I never hesitate to say " yes." You are the first man who asked me that. My heart was overjoyed that day. You don't know how much you make me happy at that time. I don't waste any minute being with you. I shouted in my room because of excitement. " Oh my gosh, he is going to have a date with me." I chose my red silk dress to be wear on our date. I should be looked elegant on our date because I want to cherish all the moments that we are together. Night came, you fetched me at our home. I can't forget how you look at me at that moment. I saw a spark in your eyes. You were mesmerized. " You are so beautiful like Venus," you said to me. I can't help myself not to blush. That was the first time  I heard it from you. My heartfelt happiness. The man I love is with me now. 

You took me to a peaceful place. It was only you and I there. The place is wonderful. I thought you will bring me to the fancy restaurant but I was wrong it was more than at the fancy restaurant. I was teary-eyed that night. I never expect that you will do too much effort into it. My dream date. I date what I want ever since when I learn to love. I thought it will just happen in the fairy tale or fiction but I was wrong. You made it real for me. I hugged you tightly. " thank you." I whispered. " Don't thank me. I just want to make you happy with him." I was confused but it was answered immediately. At my back, Jake standing there with a smile at me and handed me a bouquet. " Enjoy your date with him. He is your knight and shining armor and under the moonlight, he is willing to win your heart." then after that, you left us. My dream date to be with you shattered away. 

after that incident, I let go of my love for you because I can't teach you how to love me. You are happy with someone and I don't have the right to take away your happiness even I am still in love with you.

Her  Heart clenched after reading that letter. Her heart aches because of the letter she read a while ago. She never noticed the tears coming from her eyes. She turned off her laptop and fell asleep.
