Chapter Two

" Scarlett don't you find Jaze attractive?" Cassie asked seriously while they are eating together. She raised her brow.

" Why did you asked that question Cassie?He is just like a brother to me." She answered directly.

" Why don't you give a try? For Pete's sake Scarlett Lie you are not getting any younger. You are 25 years old yet NBSB. Why don't you try to entertain a man?" Cassie.

" You know that I can't. I can't love them." she said.

" Is it still all about him? Carlie, that was five years ago. Wake up and move on." Cassie said in exasperation.

" I moved on. You knew it Cassie. You knew from the start."

She walked fast because she gonna be late to her Writing Discipline class. She only had 5 mins left. She didn't mind anything all in her thought is to reach her classroom before their professor will arrive . She knew how terror her professor was.

"Ouch." She bumped the wall and she fell down.

" Miss, are you okay?" someone asked her. 

" Do I look okay? Ouch." She said angrily.

" Look I am sorry." He said in a baritone voice. He helped her to stand up and picked up her things. " I am really sorry miss. Maybe I could bring you in the clinic." He said. She looked at him in disbelief .This man is different from the other guy she knew. He is such a gentleman. Even if it is her fault but he is the one asked sorry and even help her.

" Miss, are you okay? " he asked to her in a worried voice.

" Huh? Ah y-yeah . I am fine." she said but her face is blushing.

" Are you sure? "

" Yes. Okay I have to go." she said even she felt that her butt is aching." T- thank you. B -bye." she stuttered. " Scarlett. Why did you stutter?" she said in herself and walked but sadly she slipped.

" Ahhhhhhhh" she thought that she will fall on the floor but she was wrong because a hand catch him and it was him.

"Careful." he said.

" T-thank you."

" I think you are not okay. Maybe I need to bring you at the clinic." He said.

" N-no. I am r-really fine. I'm gonna be late. " She refused because of the shame she felt right now."

" I insist."

" But I am gonna be late in my class." she said.

" Think yourself first."

True to his word. He brought her at the clinic. The nurse checked on her.

" I told you that I am fine. Thank you. Bye." She said.

" It is better to be sure." He said.

" Yeah right. Okay bye. Thank you for accompanying me." She said and ran. She can't take any minute to be with him. The man just smiled because of her action.

She never thinks that their path will crosses again.
