I have always been complicated ever since I was brought into the world. Only the living walked then and I was a normal 13 year old girl living in the country. Never having a tough shell to crack but always a fighter and protector for those I love. It's called dedication and promises.
The living are in danger while the dead roam the earth. I'm not human and I'm starting to accept it. I have unexplainable powers but I can use them to protect those I love or destroy those who are a threat or worse, those who want to rule and have dominance over us fighters. The world is a dangerous place where no one is safe.
The group isn't scared of me which is surprising. I've grown closer to everyone but Shane because the vibes I get from him just scream danger so I keep my distance.
The CDC was a disaster and we almost died. Creating a force field to cover us was tiring and then I passed out. When I woke up, I was in the RV with Glenn, Dale, Lori, Carl, Rick, and Andrea. We started running out of fuel for the cars. That is, until we got to a large highway.
----------
I rode with Daryl on his motorcycle since he ditched the truck. My arms were wrapped around his torso as the wind blew through my red hair. It felt calming as the only noise you could hear was the motor running.
Moments later, the RV stopped moving as we came back from checking to see a way through the crowded cars. "See a way through? Dale asked us, Daryl just nudged his head to the way to the cars and started driving again.
We drove around the RV before going forward again. Looking around more clearly, it was completely dead. Quiet even.
Before we got further, there was a loud clank like something broke. Looking behind us, white smoke was coming from the engine of the RV as it slowed to a stop.
Getting off the motorcycle, we headed to the broken down RV." A thousand times dead in the water." Dale commented but I didn't bother to speak as Shane asked," Problem Dale?" Clearly he couldn't see it, even if it was in front of him.
"Just a matter of being stuck in the middle of nowhere with no hope of-" he paused as Daryl reached in the back of a car and started grabbing stuff.
"-okay that was dumb." the older man commented.
Ignoring their conversation, I was brought into a memory ment to be forgotten.
I woke up in a strange room, monitors beeped as there was a blinding light. The room lit up almost immediately. Looking around, there was a blackened window, probably one sided.
The room was a plane tiled white. Looking down, I was only covered by a sheet, needles sticking out of me.
Ripping them out, I stood from the flat bed not bothering to cover myself. As I turned around, creaking could be heard. A strange lab door opened and a brunette woman walked in looking down at a clipboard.
Next thing I knew, i was standing behind her. She looked up at by the air shifting. She immediately turned around and tried to grab me, but I was inhumanely quicker.
I grabbed her jaw and the top of her head and then twisted with a new found strength.
The women's body fell to the ground. She was my first kill but not my last. I took her white lab coat and the key pin. Wrapping the coat around my somewhat tall frame, I walked out of the room.
As I did, I felt different. I felt emotionless.
I was brought back to reality when I heard familiar groans and growls. Turning to my right and saw walkers coming onto the highway about a mile away. They started getting closer so I turned the other way and started walking towards Carl and Sofia.
I saw Rick and he whispered ergantly,"Carl, Sophia, Sin, get down now." I turned around and the walkers were closer but there were more.
Quickly grabbing Carl's hand, we hid under a car that could only cover 2 people so Sophia had to go under another one. Covering his mouth, we stayed quiet.
It was terrifying seeing this many walkers heading in one direction. Looking to our left, I saw Rick there which ment on the right was Sophia. The walkers continued to pass, their moaning filling my ears.
Rick held his pointer finger up to his lips, signaling us to stay quiet. It went on like that until it seemed like there weren't any more. My eyes started glowing so I kept my head down but my ears open.
Sophia tried to get out from underneath the car but scooted back as a Walker saw her. It got on the ground and growled looking at her.
I lifted my head up as she finally got out from underneath the car but ran to the woods. She a tracked more as the rest of us got out. I let go of Carl and started running after Rick and Sophia.
Flipping over the railing, I lost track of them.
-------------
Finally what felt like hours, I found the highway and the group again. It was still daylight but I didn't see Sophia. By now no one knew where she was or even if she was alive. I tried the best I could with my enhanced hearing but i couldn't hear her.
I thought 'why not put a Flashback in this chapter since it's actually the second. Sophia is now missing and Sin is getting closer to Carl.
