Cynthia

The next day, I slept because the stitches ripped open so I let Maggie redo them.

The next morning I found myself on my bed again. Looking around, I could've sworn I slept on the floor. After changing into another pair of ripped leggings, I put on a green off shoulder tee along with my cashmere leather black gloves.

Walking downstairs, I saw Maggie standing on the front porch. She was glaring so I looked in the same direction she was and saw my group. Glenn looked nervous before saying," Uh, guys...the barns full of walkers." I froze.

Walking down the steps I started walking to the barn until I heard groans and growls. I didn't want to believe it but I had to. My family would have a reason for it. The group followed behind me but Shane walked closer. He stepped back and walked to Rick saying,"Okay, we either gotta go in there, we got to make things right or we've just gotta go."

I looked at Shane in shock. There was no way in hell I would leave my family behind or my group. "We can't go." Rick said and I silently agreed." Why Rick? Why?" Shane asked and Carol answered instead.

"Because my daughter is still out there."

"Okay. Okay, I think it's time that we all just start to just consider the other possibility." he said and I shook my head not even bothering to realize that I held onto Carl's hand.

"No."

Everyone turned to me but my eyes were directed to Shane. "I refuse to believe that. I don't give up on nobody because they could have a chance of survival. I'm not leaving until we find Sophia, I don't care." I protested and let go of Carl's hand and walked back to the house, slamming the door.

(Continuing memory from chapter 6)

Walking into the white colored hallway, there were noticable security cameras. They followed my every move. Getting annoyed, I stared into it knowing a man was behind it.

His eyes bleed as mine glowed gold by just seeing it. The man fell down with eyes wide open and unresponsive. I stepped out of its view, I continued.

As I rounded the corner, I was met with a gun in between my eyes. When he pulled the trigger, I was on the other side without a scratch.

My movements became quick and when he dropped to the ground, his throat was torn out along with his heart. The beating started to slow and I dropped it by his body.
