This time of year is always hard. Its wedding season and you're STILL single. You've graduated college and all of your friends are getting married and having babies, but not you. You're staying with your uncles, Sam and Dean, for the summer, and they're pretty cool, but you wish you had a special someone to do things with, whether its hunting like the boys do, or something else, you just want someone special to do it with.

You think about this as you lie in bed staring at the ceiling until Dean calls you downstairs for breakfast. You get up with a sigh, its probably the usual, doughnuts Dean's favorite since Sam won't let him have pie for breakfast everyday. You throw on some clothes and head downstairs.

"Good morning Y/N. How'd you sleep?" Sam asks in his uncomfortably cheerful voice. How can he be so happy this early in the morning?

"Morning" You reply, not even bothering to answer the question. You sit down at the table and look at your plate... and its pie. "What's the occasion boys?"

"What? We can't just have pie for breakfast around here?" Dean scoffs.

    "I mean..."

"Well," Sam starts. "We've noticed that you've been pretty lonely lately when we leave to go on a hunt." He takes a bite of pie. "So... we're having our friend Charlie come stay with you this time since we're about to head out again."

"Charlie? Who? I don't need a babysitter. Plus, why is that a special occasion?" You look back and forth between Sam and Dean who look at each other and then hack at you.

"Well."" Dean replies. "We know you don't need a babysitter. Charlie isn't coming to babysit you. She's..." He hesitates. "We've set you up on a date with her. You're single, she's single,, she likes girls, you like girls..."

"A date!!" You gasp. "What do you mean you set me up on a date? I'm not ready. There's so much I'd need to do to prepare..."

"Well, Y/N you better hurry up and prepare because she'll e here at 1:15 today to meet you." Sam says. You jump up from your seat and run to your room upstairs. Where do you even begin? You would love to get a haircut, lose a lot of weight, and work on your self confidence, but there's no time for that. You run to your closet to find something to wear that doesn't look like you just planned on lounging around the house all day.

"Nope... nope... nope..." You sigh as you pull one thing after another out of your closed and throw it onto the floor. "Oh wait!" You cry. "This could be perfect... Nope, never mind. There's a stain on it from when I went out last Saturday with Andrea." You toss the blouse aside and keep looking. After 30 minutes of looking you find a silky black dress that you swear you've never seen before. You try it on and it FITS!!

What next? You don't wear makeup but ponder wearing some for the occasion. "Nah, I don't even know if I'm her type. I'm not that girly, but I'm not a tomboy either. I don't really fit a particular category when it comes to my style." You sit on your bed and think. Its 10:48 and she's supposed to be here at 1:15. Oh! I know, I need to make sure to hide my collection of medical textbooks and science journals, don't want to look like a HUGE nerd on the first date. If that's really what this is.

You get up and shove your medical textbooks, science journals, and dozens of Star Wars collectibles under your bed just as Dean walks in. " Hey kid." He says just as you stand up from shoving the last of everything under the bed. "What are you doing? You look like you're getting into trouble."

"Oh no, no. Just hiding my nerdiness before Charlie gets here.." Dean just smiles for a moment. "What?" You ask.

"Oh nothing, you'll figure it out soon enough." He gives you a nudge before leaving the room. You go downstairs and sit with the boys, helping them look through books of lure to find out about the latest creature they're going to hunt until Charlie arrives at 1:15 when the doorbell finally rings...

"There she is!" Sam says with a huge grin. "There's your date." He jumps up and goes to open the door as you sit in utter terror. What on Earth were they thinking?
