Chapter 11- Isla Akika and You

After 15 hours, we finally reached the island. It was still dark dahil 5 am pa so everyone was told to gather in a circle para mabigyan ng room assignments and the list of the activities to do within the 5-day trip. Sa sobrang hilo ko sa trip, halos di na ako makalakad ng tuwid so Cal looked for a log where I can sit on and siya na yung kumuha nung room assignment and list for me. Siya na din yung nagbitbit ng lahat ng gamit ko at ang tanging bitbit ko lang ay yung sling bag and tumbler for my water. He insisted dahil talagang I look like I'm dying na daw sa sobrang pale ko. I know he looks like my yaya but what can I do? Ginusto niya yan. Tsk.

"Room 6 tayo. Let's go?" sabay lahad niya ng kamay niya.

"Tayo? What the hell are you saying?" me and him in one room? No way!!!

"May 30 rooms lang ang resort and 30 students kayo. Where do you expect me to stay?"

"Then go home. I don't want you here anyway." Then I stood up and almost lose my balance. Bigla kasing dumilim yung paningin ko. Luckily, someone was able to catch me and when I looked at the person, he was smiling.

"Extra careful classmate. Baka mahulog ka." Sabay kindat niya sa akin.

Hindi ko nalang pinansin yung sinabi ni Axl dahil hilong-hilo na talaga ako. This sea sickness is bitching me out. Ugh!

"Salamat pare." Cal to Axe.

"Sure. Hindi na din naman iba sa akin si Exy eh. We've known each other for years already." sabay smirk niya sa akin.

"Oh talaga? Matagal na kayong classmates?" Oh please Cal nakakabwisit na yung mga tanong mo. Stop talking to him.

Tumawa ng malakas yung unggoy and dahil sa hindi ko na talaga kaya. I run to the nearest tree and throw up. Gustong-gusto ko ng humiga but these guys are chitchatting for god knows until when.

Tumakbo agad papalapit sa akin si Cal. Then Axl followed. Both of them asking if how was I feeling. Syempre wala akong sinagot dahil tinatamad ako.

"Do you want me to carry you sa room natin?" ayan na naman siya sa NATIN niya.

I was about to shout at him when my freakin' partner butt in.

"What?! You with her in one room?!" He was asking in a high pitched tone which makes me more irritated. I know he wouldn't like it.

"Oo naman. Very soon we'll be in one house naman eh. Mas mabuti na yung nagpapractice na kami. Right babe?" tapos hinaplos ni Cal yung likod ko. Trying to make me okay.

"No way! I mean oh no baka hindi gusto ni Exy yang set-up na yan. Privacy ofcourse. Right Ex?" not to metion the emphasis on the word EX. Holy crap!

After a moment of silence, Axl decided to make Cal as his roommate para naman daw magkaroon ako ng privacy. Syempre hindi niya lang talaga gusto makasama ko si Calvin sa iisang room. It probably would kill him. Haha. Mygosh natatawa pa ako not to mention na karga-karga na ako ngayon ni Calvin na parang bride papunta sa kwarto ko. EW! After1234567890 years, narating din namin ang room ko and right after Cal made sure my things are complete (By the way, si Axl na nagbitbit lahat ng gamit namin. Buti nga sakanya) nagpaalam na siya na papasok na rin sa room nila which is katabi lang din nung akin. Tsk!

Then I slept. Woke up at 10 am dahil sa gutom. Naligo muna ako bago ako lumabas to eat my breakfast. I checked the list and the 1st tour will start at 2 pm so may free time pa kami to do things on our own.
