Y/N's POV

I sat quietly in my room watching the ice dance around my fingers. My best friend(or as my parents want me to call her) "pet", Luna was snuggling with me on my bed. Luna was specifically given to me as baby because she was the last frostblooded wolf with powers like my own.

People with powers in our kingdom only run in the royal family and royal guard. The royal family being the most powerful of course. That is just how the gods intended it to be.

Everything was so peaceful. You could hear the ice around me shimmer.

Then I felt sweat drip from my forehead. It was starting to get warm in my room. It never gets warm here. Our entire kingdom is made of ice. And we are located in the arctic because the cold weather is the source of our power.

I ran out of my room frantically towards the throne room. As I ran, I heard my mother's screams. I entered the throne room to see mother being held by two men dressed in red with masks covering their faces.

As my mother was being held captive, her eyes never left one thing......my father's dead body. I screamed as I saw my father's deceased body on the floor. He had burn marks all over him. Then I realized what type of people were invading our home...Firebloods.

I shot a spear of ice that I created right through one of the men holding my mother. He let go and his lifeless body fell to the floor. As I was distracted, the other intruder took the opportunity to attack me.

My mother instantly protected me and blasted him into the waters surrounding the room. If you weren't from our kingdom, there was no surviving that. She watched as he froze to death.

We tried to make a run for the exit but we were surrounded. The Firebloods took their stances and began to shoot at us. My mother and I quickly made a force field around ourselves and Luna.

My mother turned to me and took my hands in hers. "Y\N, my beautiful baby girl...I am so proud of you and the accomplishments you have made throughout the years. I hope you continue to thrive wherever you may go..." 

As my mother spoke such touching words, I felt tears form in my eyes. The life that I had ever known was falling apart within seconds before my very eyes. 

We both knew only one of us would escape today. And it wasn't going to be her.....

???'s POV

I watched as father sent more and more soldiers in to attack the Ice Kingdom castle. Today was the day. And I have to sit back and watch from the side lines.

I was snapped out of my train of thought when I heard my older brother's announcement.

"The king has been killed! The Queen and the Princess have been trapped inside." Jimin stated. Everything is going according to plan.

My father has been trying to drill the plan in my head for months. First, kill the king and queen. Second, kidnap the princess. And third, take over the Ice Kingdom and all of its inhabitants.

"Taehyung!" Jimin yelled snapping me out of my thoughts once again. I stood up immediately to face him. 

"Yes Hyung?"

"I want you to hold onto this for today." He handed me a bag filled with karzicon. It is the world's most powerful dust that enhances a fireblood's powers. One man could become his own army. I just stood there, shook.

"Hyung! Why are you giving this to me?! This belongs to you! I don't deserve this!" Jimin chuckled. 

"Tae, calm down. I only said you have to hold onto it. I just want you to have something to protect yourself with, just in case anything goes wrong today."

I sighed in relief. "Oh ok. Thank you." He smiled at me. 

"No problem little bro."

Our little sentimental brotherly moment didn't last very long when we heard our father call our names.

"Jimin! Taehyung! I need some of your assistance! The Queen and Princess are fighting back!"
