3 | Confrontation

Taehyung's POV

I stopped attacking the shield as I saw the princess getting off of her wolf. All of these princesses are so submissive. What a shame.

She pet her wolf and slowly walked towards me. 

"Right this way princess." I said with a smirk on my face.

I regretted it the moment I said it. I saw annoyance and anger form in her eyes.

She then sent a thick shard of ice at me, cutting the surface of the skin on my cheek. I yelped as I held my cheek and felt the blood drip down my face. 

"I was trying to play nice Princess but now you just pissed me off!!!" I shouted angrily.

Her wolf came to her side and growled at me. I blasted it back so it wouldn't get in my way. "Luna no!" 

The princess screamed as she watched her pet get tossed back.

She turned to me, "What is wrong with you?!" Before she could run to her wolf's side, I enclosed her in a circle of fire. "Please! Let me help her! She's dying!" Tears now forming in her eyes.

I looked around her to see her wolf bleeding. I saw a gash along its rig cage. I sighed reluctantly and rolled my eyes. 

"Sounds like a personal problem princess."

Y/N's POV

I screamed as I tried to freeze the fire around me. I started sweating profusely. My powers weakened as I felt the heat grow hotter.

"Let me go!" I screamed at the prince.

Just for a moment, I could have sworn I saw a bit of concern in his eyes. 

I started to feel nauseous, dizzy, and weak. I gave up and fell to my knees.

I'm so sorry mom.

And that's when everything went black.

Taehyung's POV

I watched as the princess grew weaker. She gave up and fell to her knees. I started to become a little worried. I ran towards her as she passed out.

I lowered the fire until it completely vanished. I picked her up and carried her bridal style. As I turned around with her unconscious in my arms, my eyes meet with Jimin's.

"Kim Taehyung! What did you do to the princess?!" Jimin screamed angrily.

"Hyung, she is only unconscious. She is completely fine." I said reassuringly. Jimin sighed with relief.

"Good. I will help you take her back to the ship."

With that, I nodded and we made our way back to our ship.

We boarded the ship and had the guards take the princess to her new cell.

"Hey Tae?" Jimin asked out of the blue.

"Yes Hyung?" I answered.

"Where is Father?"

"I'm not sure" I shrugged.

Jimin turns towards one of the guards and asked where our father was.

"He went inside of the castle sir. The queen was proving to be quite difficult so he went inside to take care of it."

I saw the shock spread across Jimin's face. I was surprised as well. Our father never leaves the ship during an attack. Especially to go handle an issue himself? That wasn't like him to do such a thing.

Jimin's facial expression grew cold as he turned to face me. "Taehyung, stay here and help watch over the princess. I'm going inside to help our father."

"Why do I have to stay here? Why do I always have to miss out on the action?" I whined. Jimin rolled his eyes at me and walked away.

Yeah, you better walk away.

But deep down, I was more than worried.
