Y/N's POV

"Y/N, I need you to take Luna and RUN. I will hold them off as long as I can so you can get out of here safely. I can't let them get you. Do not look back. I love you so much my little angel."

She kissed my forehead as she instructed me on what to do and tears rolled down my face. 

"Mom.....I can't just leave you...."

She cupped my face. 

"You aren't my love. You know I am always with you even when I physically am not. I'll be fine." 

I hugged her tightly.

"Once the force field breaks, you know where to go right?" 

"Yes I do. Luna, you ready?" I say turning to her. 

She barks cheerfully. "Good."

Just as the force field breaks my mother presses her back against mine and puts something in my hand. I didn't have time to look at it so I just put it in my pocket.

Then my mother sent sharp shards of ice, killing every man that stood in front of the castle doors. And with that I jumped on Luna's back and me and her take off, leaving my mother behind.

A tear slipped out of my eye knowing what I was doing. But I quickly wiped the tear away knowing that Luna and I would be safe.

Taehyung's POV

"Father! I have been told that the queen has killed a significant amount of our men and the princess have escaped!" Jimin exclaimed.

"I was not aware that the queen was that powerful." My father said with an annoyed look on his face.

My attention was immediately drawn away from their conversation when I saw something moving quickly off in the distance. It was the princess. This is my chance to prove myself worthy to my father.

He completely rejects me as his son sometimes. He only focuses on Jimin since he is the first born and heir to the throne.

I quickly get up from my chair and made my way off the ship without being noticed. I was going to capture the princess...myself.

Y/N's POV

Luna and I were getting closer and closer to the border. Once we reached it we would be safe.

I felt terrible. Leaving my mother AND my kingdom.....my people.

All they would ever remember me as, is their future queen, that ran away and abandoned them when they needed me most.

I reached into my pocket to see what my mother gave me. It was her necklace that she used to wear. It had a beautiful snowflake pendant on it.

I felt myself starting to tear up. I couldn't do it. I couldn't leave her.

"Luna, we have to go back." I guess Luna was thinking exactly what I was thinking. We came to a stop and turned around.

My heart dropped when my eyes met his. Maybe he will show us mercy. I thought wrong.

Luna and I made a shield in front of ourselves as the soldier sent a blaze of fire in our direction.

As I observed him, he wasn't wearing a fire kingdom soldier uniform. On his shirt bore the fire kingdom's royal family crest. My father showed me a picture of it from a book in our family's library when I was younger. He must be one of the Crimson king's sons.

He continued to come closer as he threw every blow he could to break our shield. I knew in my heart that his intention was to kill us after I saw what they did to my father.

"Surrender now Princess! If you do so, I won't have to hurt you!" He commanded.

I was not about to let some "Prince" boss me around.

I slowly got off of Luna as the shield was reaching its limit. I know what I have to do.
