Jihoon came to the garden as soon as he reached the home and washed up.
He reached the garden and saw haneul sketching something.

Haneul noticed jihoon coming, she closed her notebook and waved back at him slowly as he waved at her.

Jihoon made his way towards her and he sat near her at the same bench. Jihoon didn't even realise not like haneul cared about it. They both didn't mind it. As usual jihoon talked about his day.

He told her about how his friend junkyu bumped his head on the wall accidentally. Jihoon's laugh echoed throughout the garden. Haneul managed to crack a little smile here and there.

"Don't you have friends?Tell me more about you" Jihoon said.

"I don't have one. I guess" she said before shifting her attention to the fountain.

"What am i then?" Jihoon asked folding his arms before pouting.

Haneul smiled. "Well, i guess i have one now"

Jihoon flashed her a big bright smile. Soon it was nearly six in the evening and the sky was losing it's brightness slowly.

Jihoon bid goodbye to her since he had a lot of homeworks and assignments to finish.

She smiled as she watched him. She felt somewhat alive after all these years.

"Miss, you shouldn't be out for so long" the nurse said as soon as haneul went inside.

"We have been searching your for hours? Where were you? You told us you would be back at 6 pm. But it's already 6.30 pm"

The nurse continued blabbering but haneul ignored her as she laid on the hospital bed. The nurse injected some injections that haneul doesn't even care about.

"You don't really care about me. You are just working because my parents paid you so. Just act like you never saw me. It's not like they are going to know that i went outside unless you told them so"

Haneul snapped back turning her back on her. The nurse quietly sighed.

"Even so you should take care of yourself, miss lee" She said feeling pity for her.

"Don't you dare pity me. I am gonna die for sure and i don't even know why you all make so much ruckus about it. It's bound to happen"  haneul snapped at her.

Her mood is ruined again the moment she stepped inside the hospital.

The nurse bowed down slightly before leaving her alone knowing that talking more would only upset haneul.

Haneul's mom is a business woman. After her father died in a car accident when haneul was five, her mom was busy. Busy caring about her business that she didn't even have time for her own child. Haneul grew up with the love of maids.

She grew up without knowing her mother's love. Her mom would usually call atleast once month to talk to her so called loving daughter. But haneul would never attend her calls.

Even now, after haneul was known to be sick. She was diagnosed with brain tumour, her mom didn't even come visit her. But instead she appointed many maids for her and took care of her through her secretary. She told she was busy in america due to some business matters.

Haneul always grew up alone. She was lonely even though there were many maids who played and took care of her. They would often try to brighten her mood up. But she will never respond.

Haneul stood up from the bed and took the notebook in the table beside her bed.

She opened it and traced the drawing she drew as a smile formed on her.

She felt pathetic. She did pity herself and she hated it.
