Jihoon hadn't been visiting the garden for two days. These two days, haneul waited for him in the garden.Before she met jihoon, she would come here to run away from the people. But after jihoon came into her life she waited for him.

She would be disappointed that jihoon didn't come but who can she blame? At the end of the day she will be leaving him. Maybe it's better that jihoon will leave her before she does. But she can't help but to hope that he will come.

She looked at the entrance waiting for jihoon again.

But again he didn't come. She took her notebook in her hand and went back to the hospital her mind filled with disappointment, more like sadness or regret.

Haneul arrived at the garden like every other day, but today jihoon was there even before her.

Haneul stopped on her tracks. She wished jihoon would come back soon and talk with her again. She really hoped but now that he's here she don't what to do. She's happy but sad.

Just then jihoon turned towards her and waved at her slowly when their eyes met. She took hesitant steps towards jihoon before settling next to him.

"Haneul" His voice was husky. It was always husky but it seems like it just became huskier.

Haneul didn't reply but looked down at her feet.

"Haneul" jihoon repeated again.

"Ji-" she started but before she could finish jihoon pulled her into his embrace.

"I missed you" he said before placing his face on her shoulder.

"I missed you too" haneul replied.

"How were you doing?" haneul asked her voice low only enough for them to hear. Instead of a reply all she got was a sound of little sobs.

She felt her shoulder wet before tears started falling down from her eyes too.

They didn't need words to talk out loud. They both knew what they were feeling at the moment and that the silence and comfort is the best thing to do.

They both gave their shoulder to each other and shared their tears,letting all of their emotions out.

It was hard for both of them and they both knew it. Jihoon went to school and came home but unlike other days he was silent. Even his friends and family noticed this but they let it aside knowing that he probably need some space.

But jihoon realised that it must be hard for haneul too. To know that death will take her away soon. Of course everyone will die one day but knowing that you are gonna die soon, it won't be an easy thing.
