Chapter Two

"Here it is!"

Iris said as we walked into a classroom that was extremely spacious.

"It's neat."

I said with excitement that was quite visible on my face. It was English period and I couldn't wait for it. My favourite.

"Ms. Brown, I suppose?" A man, probably in his mid-thirties asked me. I was stunned at his sudden approach and stumbled back a little.

I quickly cleared my thoughts and answered with a nod which I knew was not so respectful.

I felt sorry.

Or maybe my social anxiety was hitting me at the wrong time.

"Welcome to the class. You may have a seat." He said, with a kind smile on his face.

"He is Mr. Wilson, our English teacher." Iris whispered in my ears.

We quickly took our seats. I sat on the third bench and Iris sat beside me. The class was mostly empty with one or two students sitting at the back.

"I think we are quite early." I said after inspecting the room for a while.

"Just wait and watch." Iris said with a huge grin on her face.

I guess she was right because soon the class started to fill and there were barely any seats left.

Mr. Wilson was just about to start the class when four boys stepped into the classroom, giggling throughout as if they don't know or care about what is going on.

"You are late again, boys."

"Sorry sir! Last time, I promise." A guy with blond hair spoke first. A dimpled smile on his face.

I couldn't see them clearly as they were turned towards the front but I could tell, they were tall. All of them.

They turned back and were heading towards their seat when I noticed something familiar. Very familiar.

His eyes.

His eyes were exactly the same as I would have imagined for my Xavi a.k.a my fictional crush. He was tall, had the same eyes. He resembled him perfectly.

I was staring way too much. Luckily he didn't look back at me.

"You okay, Alisson?" Iris said in shock looking at my really weird facial expression.

"He looks like Xavi." I mumbled incoherently.

"Who?" She said, unsure of who I was talking about.

"Him." I told, secretly pointing towards the guy with dark brown hair.

She turned towards the back to have a look and returned with a smile on her face.

"This year is going to be wonderful." She said while leaving me in a really confused state, like always.
