Getting The Princess Back

A Few Days Later - Saturday

Tonight Rachel has the date with Sam, they're going to dinner, she is a little bit excited, not that much cause she can't stop thinking about what Finn said "I'm not just some guy that you met in the music store, I don't give up that easy." She knows that if she dates Sam, he would be a wreck and she doesn't want to hurt Finn, cause she loves him. Rachel is so confused, she don't know what to do about Finn. She is just going to give Sam a chance, maybe be with him will be nice and way more easier than be with Finn. She just wanna restart.

She finished curling her hair and looks at herself in the mirror 'Damn, I'm looking awesome' she thought then giggle a little 'I'm talking with myself, I am definitely crazy' she thought and giggle again then she heard the bell ringing 'Oh Sam is here!' She thought and check her makeup and go downstairs, he looked at her and smiled and she smiled back.

"You look stunning, Rach." He said smiling and she smiled.

"Thanks." She said smiling to him.

"Oh! This is for you." He said smiling and hand her flowers and she smiled big.

"Thank you, Sam." She said smiling.

"Okay kids, Rach I'll put the flowers in a vase. Have fun." Leroy said smiling and grab the flowers from Rachel, who left the house with Sam. They go to his car and he opened the door for her, who smiled thanking him. In her first date with Finn, Rachel and him were already pretty close so it was easier. But Rachel and Sam are friends but they're not as close as Finn and Rachel were.

"So, where are we going?" Rachel asked excited.

"Pierre's." He said smiling and Rachel smiled, that is the fanciest restaurant in Lima.

"That place is beautiful." Rachel said and Sam nod. "I've been there once with my dads."

"It's so delicious." Sam said and Rachel nod.

"Thanks Sam, for inviting me on a date, I really have a feeling that tonight will be awesome." Rachel honestly said to him.

"Believe me, it's my pleasure. I know you've been rough times with the whole bet thing, that I don't really wanna talk about it cause I know it hurts, but I just want you to know that I would never do something like that to you." Sam shyly said and Rachel smiled, as thought she never take it on consider that Sam would do something like that to her, well she didn't thought that about Finn too so it's kind of a relief to know that.

"Thank you Sam, but I actually never thought that you would do something like that to me." She sincerely said smiling to him.

"We're here." He said smiling and get off the car and went to the other side of the car and helped Rachel to get out off the car, his car  is very different from Finn's car, Finn's car as tough not really used, it's always perfect, Finn is fucking organized with his stuff, he just doesn't like his things is another place, so his room,for exemple, it's so organized, nothing is messy, everything is in perfect places.

——After Dinner

They're now in front of Rachel's door and Sam smiled to her, with his perfect smile, seriously, his smile is everything perfect.

"So Sam, I had a lot of fun tonight, thank you for the dinner, everything was perfect." Rachel said smiling, the date was way batter that she thought it would be, her and Sam really had a good time tonight, and she honestly needed have a good time, she is tired crying over a boy that only make fool of her.

"Well, I do everything in me for the girl that I really like." He said and Rachel smiled to him once again and he take a step closer to her and her smile grow.

"Really?" She asked smiled and he lean in.

"Really." He said and they lips touched, he puts his hands on her waist and she put her arms around his neck, she waited and waited...But no shivers and the burning feeling, know what? Fuck Finn Hudson, I can't compare everything that I had with Finn with Sam, cause with Finn were a lie and with Sam...is for real. After a few minutes kissing, they break the kiss to catch their breath back.

'I can't believe I just kissed her!' Sam thought excitedly and both, Sam and Rachel, can't help but smile to each other.

"So Rach...I know you've besn through a hard break up a few months ago and I don't wanna push you." Sam nervously said and she smiled with his silliness.'

"You can tell me everything." Rachel said encouraging her date to say what he was trying but his nervousness is interrupting him.

"Will you be my girlfriend? You don't need to-". He started saying but Rachel interrupted him with a kiss, she knows she is not totally over Finn yet but she also knows that she can't keep spend her whole yer crying over him.

"Take that as a yes." She said smiling and he smiled big to her.

"I promise you won't regret that." He said and she smiled.

"I know that." She said smiling and get in her house. After taking a shower, Rachel lay on her bed with her pajamas and she smiled a little bit.

'I'm proud of you Rach, you're moving on.' She thought and fall asleep thinking about Sam and how great were.
